Delight Apartments suites

We were so happy we booked at these rooms and location, and not on the popular beaches (Mid August). We were in nature, quiet, almost alone, away from all the craze. The number of tourists in Naxos and large Greek islands is incomprehensible. The beaches, that stretch for many kilometers, are overcrowded to the point you cannot breathe. Room spacious, bed comfortable, privacy, good breakfast, personal approach and care of the lovely family - caring hosts. Nearby beach is beautiful, we didnt get to swim there in 4 days, the northern winds during our stay made it wild. There was a day when swimming was not possible on any beach on the island. Other days we spent on other calmer beaches. When there is no wind, the beach is great. Its a beach without sunbeds and shops, just nature. (Only 1 hotel has a few private sun umbrellas there). If you want to be sure you will be able to swim in the sea during winds, and dine outside, you need a vehicle, consider this a remote location. However, there is an all-day bar/restaurant just next door with a nice swimming pool. Hotel has a nice pool and some rooms with jacuzzi - great choice. Terrace was especially beautiful, with plants. We appreciate our hosts love animals and care for strays, as we do too. The place is a few minutes drive to Agios Prokopios beach (a place we really didnt like for the thousands of people there, however, out of the high season, its a beautiful beach.) Suggestions to the hotel: - Replace the furniture in the room. - Add softer pillows suitable for back-sleepers to those anatomical pillows (which are great for ppl sleeping on sides but too thick for others). - Add a full length mirror, even if narrow and cheap.

Breakfast until only 10 am - this is a very early cut off for holiday making ppl who want to rest once in a busy working year, and it is hard to find anywhere anymore. Most hotels, rooms, including Greece, serve breakfast at least until 10.30-11 am, some 11.30, a few even until 12. Please reconsider. We never book hotels with an early breakfast cutoff, thats one of our search criteria, this time we overlooked this info. The cleaning lady made noise early morning when sweeping/cleaning, hitting walls and objects, woke us up.

We loved the design of the rooms and the property as a whole, very loyal to island’s style and cosy. There is a lot of natural lighting, beautiful spots for lounging and having breakfast / a bite. There is also a large parking and a lovely pool. The lighting design during nightime is on point and evocative. The property is a few steps away from a beautiful beach (mostly recommended for lounging / a run / a walk).

Andreas and Sylvia are the best hosts! They were so helpful and kind, they made us feel so welcomed from the start. The room we stayed had everything we needed, it had a balcony with a beautiful view. The breakfast is amazing, all homemade and different every day. We would definitely come back next time we’re in Naxos. Thank you so much for making our stay in Naxos so memorable! Victor&Fiore

The host / owners are super friendly. Great breakfast, nice room. Clean towels every day. Closely located near good restaurants.
