La Roche Posay is beautiful and worth a visit. Hotel is just a very short walk to central square

Good place, great staff, closed restaurant!

Really friendly and helpful staff some of whom spoke English. This was an unexpected help for our own poor French language abilities! Lovely building, great car park, nice pool.

Super little town to explore and the hotel is excellent with an amazing range of facilities for the price! Delightful friendly staff always willing to help.

The set menu was very expensive and had no choice and the wine was pricey too but because we don’t eat fish the chef substituted chicken for us which was very kind.

The breakfast and the breakfast staff where satisfactory and the lady receptionist was helpful and spoke a little English.

The staircase was difficult to use with a slight disability, had to use the fire escape steps instead. The evening menu was not to our liking. Not enough staff to cope with the number of dinners.

Excellent stay

We stayed for one night after visiting the Central Thermal. The rooms were very clean, small, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious dinner in the Resturant which is made with local fresh and organic produce. We decided to skip breakfast and ate at a local Boulangerie et pâtisserie, Merigard Sebastien, which is a few minutes walk away offering mouth watering pastries and baguettes.

A great find

We stayed in the lovely superior studio. Own front door and little table and chairs outside for nice days. Everything you could require in the studio - cooking hob, micro, washing machine, dishwasher, cutlery etc. And all done with taste and quality. It really was full of charm and character. Breakfast was nice which we had in the dining room and we ordered a Frichti basket in our room for supper. It was fabulous if you are looking for tasty, individual portions with a huge variety of choice. And the food was lovely. All in all a real find with lovely people. Plus very dog friendly with plenty of places nearby and around the hotel grounds.

Really we loved it all. The only areas for potential improvement would be modernising the bathroom and a larger bed although it was very comfortable with quality linen.

Liked La Roche Posay a lovely town but don’t eat evening in restaurant unless you check the menu

Good location.Nice small town.Hotel ok but not special.Good place for a stop over if travelling from south to a ferry port.

Choice of evening meal no choice only set menu not good for us and a little pretentious.Room not quite as good as advertised.Generally clean with good staff.We were refunded for the evening meal but it spoilt our evening at the end of a long journey.

The hotel was fine & we would return however we would prefer dinner in a different restaurant.

The rooms & the hotel were very clean & very comfortable.

We arrived fairly late at 8.45 pm & had booked for dinner. It was a set menu at 33€ each. The food was very average. The first course & mains were overcooked & dry at the edges. The dessert a clementine in sauce was OK unusual but alright. We could however on the dinner we were served not recommend the food.

We reserved 2 rooms for our family of 6 to participate to a wedding. We liked the fact that it was closed to the village, it was very convenient and a good price for performance ratio. Breakfast was good too

3 Etoiles assez surévaluées. Pause de 2 jours agréable malgré tout.

Très jolie décoration :), possibilité de profiter de la piscine prolongée ...proximité du centre à pied.

La vue du lit sur les WC (quand le panneau n'était pas tiré., cause petite taille de la chambre), la TV internet qui ne marchait pas (il fallait grimper sur une chaise pour débrancher et rebrancher .. 5 fois en 2 jours), l'interrupteur de lit qui ne fonctionnait pas et beaucoup plus loin des thermes à pied qu'attendu .
