Nice place to stay

Good location , just 10 min to Ipsos beach by walking. All the grocery shops, restaurants, cafes are also in walking distance. The rooms were clean and had kitchenware (electric pot, cutleries, etc.). The safe is free of charge, despite being locked with a metal key. Host can make a good breakfast or dinner upon request. I didn't visit the pool but at a first glance it was clean and equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The apartment we stayed in had a spacious balcony bordered by a hedge. If anyone wants to travel to the city center it's absolutely convenient to travel by public transport (bus). The hotel is a bit distant from the road so it's very quiet at night.

There was no one to meet us at the reception desk. Host sits on the second floor and put a paper with his mobile number to call him when someone arrives. Not convenient for people having troubles with roaming. The beds were uncomfortable.

Good location, good for cheap stay.

Location was close to shops and restaurants and we had a wonderful view from a huge balcony. Good size pool and lots of sun loungers.

I really want to rate this place high because it has so much potential and isn’t the worst place that I have ever stayed and mindful it is 3 stars…. but on everything that you want from a stay it was just under OK and with a touch more attention to detail and investment it would have made the stay somewhere that I would come back to again and again. The first thing that hit us as we entered the room was the size of the place, it was huge and the view outstanding but quickly shadowed by the smell while it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t a pleasing clean smell. The lounge area had two sofa beds that ticked a box but were not appealing to sit on. The kitchen was fine but didn’t have the basics, detergent(other than an old soap tub with a squeeze in it) and missing a cloth to wash dishes. Given you cannot drink the water it would have been great to have even a small bottle of water to drink or brush teeth on arrival. The bathroom just disgusting, it needs updated and a proper shower, the toilet was hard to flush also the door did not lock. The towels were so hard we went and purchased our own to use. The beds and pillows are terribly hard and while it is hot at least a top cover rather than just a sheet would have made sleeping better.

A real Paradiso in Ypsos

The location was ideal to reach all the activities on Ypsos promenade. We had a sea view studio apartment with one bedroom which was ideal for our family of five. The owner Kostas and his family made us feel really welcome and gave us lots of helpful tips on places to visit. The pool is great and overlooks a beautiful view of Corfu. They also serve lovely homemade food and drinks by the pool, which is a bonus if you just want to chill rather than going out exploring.

Would highly recommend Paradiso to anyone visiting Ipsos!

We liked everything about Paradiso. Kostas and Thanos were so helpful and friendly. The room was fantastic- spotlessly clean and refreshed each day. We had a lovely balcony with a view which looked out over the pool but also could see the sea and the evening sunset. There's a little bar selling drinks and some food which is useful. It is a short 5 minute walk to town which is perfect as you feel separated from the masses but it is so quick. Free parking was great. Overall 10/10 for Paradiso, it is exactly what we wanted.

The only thing i can think of is that the beds are quite hard, but this didn't cause any issues. Also just be wary that between mid July- end of August Ipsos is absolutely swarmed with teenage italians. Not an issue but something to bear in mind! Kostas runs a tight ship and there was no noise despite this!

Great place to stay.

Very helpful lovely family run hotel, nothing was too much trouble for them. Great atmosphere and vibe around pool and bar. Food was good priced same as cafes and bars on the main strip. All guests staying there interacted with each other. Room was massive with a safe, hairdryer, air con and washing up liquid and cloth supplied. Aircon was great, went down to 16 and never took long to cool the room. Cleaning staff polite, pleasant and happy.

No sea view from my apartment, faced on to back of another apartment, however I didn't spend much time in my room or on balcony. Door and safe key on same keyring which is weldered so cannot separate. Personally I don't like having my safe key stuck to door key incase they got lost. Also attached was the plastic bit needed for slot to turn everything on in apartment. Big and bulky for pockets/small bags etc.

Nice location and nice rooms

The rooms were huge which was nice with a large balcony and the room had everything you needed. The hotel was kept very nice and clean, and perfect acces to the pool.

Aircondition was working but was very bad, and the water in the bathroom kept changing temperature. The beds were okay but kinda hard to sleep on.

The owner was extremely rude. The wifi is unreliable. The sockets near the bed didn’t work. It took 10 minutes to get hot water in the shower.

The location was amazing! The rooms were huge and great price for the quality! The staff were suupper friendly and super helpful. Amazing could not rave about it enough! It was also very clean and they cleaned the rooms daily! The pool area was also great

Lovely Host, nice location all making for an enjoyable stay.

Lovely location, providing a quieter retreat., about 10mins walk from the main bustling promenade and the breach. Apartments are very clean and well kitted out to provide all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. A great outdoor pool and terrace area with views across the bay. The host, Kostas, his wife and the entire family are exceptional hosts and will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable - lovely people adding to a great experience!

Nice place but could be a lot better

The apartment is recently refurbished and looks good.

There are no basic in the kitchen sush as a cloth, soap, sponge or dry towl. The owner is at unease and constantly montering everyone at the pool. You feel a little like you doing something wrong the whole time. My kids were ex jumping from the edge into pool (not diving) and the were told off by him. Also they were playing ball and was told to stop. They were the only ones in the pool and not bothering anyone.

Superb

The pool was amazing and very useful as we could use plenty of shadow to hide away from the Sun. The balcony we had offered an amazing view over the pool and the sea. Location was pretty good, maximum 7 minutes to the Ypsos beach, and 2 minutes from a supermarket.

The bar was closed the first few days and we bought some alcohol from outside and drank it by the pool. Once the bar was open the staff made an observation about drinking products from outside the bar which I don't think was fair.

Pleasure journey

Kostas and già staff are very kind people. The location is not fare from around 5minutes walking to the beach and the center of Ipsos. The apartment has all confort to spento well your vacation. The strategic position and good services allow to choose to eat in the apartment or outside. Important to have a car to enjoy Corfù.

Hotel priemerný, komunikácia a ochota personálu horšia.

Hotel samotný a teda náš apartmán bol v poriadku, zodpovedal fotografiám. Miesto bolo neďaleko dlhej promenády, v blízkosti reštaurácií a obchodov, miesto bolo zároveň avšak kľudné a bez nočného ruchu. K dispozícii bolo tiež parkovanie, ktoré sa nachádzalo poblíž a patrilo ku hotelu.

Komunikácia s prevádzkovateľom bola troška horšia, na začiatku sme sa s ním nevedeli skontaktovať, na recepcii nebol nikto, museli sme dlhšie čakať. Počas celého pobytu nám boli raz vynesené smeti a to bolo všetko. Upratovanie sa počas nášho 5 dňového pobytu nekonalo vôbec, čo ale nie je až taký problém. Poslednú noc vypadla elektrika a teda nebolo možné ani nabiť mobil a tiež aj na ďalší deň problém pretrval. Až do nášho odchodu už elektrika nebola vôbec a prevádzkovateľ nám iba oznámil, že je to taký problém, ktorý je bežný a už viac nereagoval. To bolo nepríjemné. Najviac ma mrzelo, že mi nevedel vystaviť potvrdenie, ktoré sme súrne potrebovali, stačilo iba vyplniť zopár údajov, ktoré sme mali predložiť poisťovni, nakoľko manžel a syn pre chorobu necestovali. Ale vôbec nám do dnešného dňa nič neposlal a potom už ani na opakované výzvy neodpovedal, napriek tomu, že nám to sľúbil.

La ubicación estuvo excelente, de ahí pudimos desplazarnos a diferentes partes de la isla. y se podía ir a la playa de Ypsos caminando.- la playa se miraba bonita y tranquila, agua transparente pero nosotros salimos cada día a conocer la isla..no nos banamos, solo caminamos..Una calle larga llena de Restaurantes y algún supermercado. La piscina solo la usamos 1 vez y me gusto..lastima que lo que pedi en el bar no estaba muy bueno.. limpiaron la habitación y sacaban la basura. Del balcon del primer piso se podía ver el amanecer.El bano estaba bien. Me llamo la atención que había muchos rótulos pidiendo no echar papeles dentro del W.C. La isla tiene mucho vegetación y lindas playas rodeadas de montanas..

Que no tuviesen una pequeña cafetera para hacer café .....la banera podría tener un colador o algo para retener los cabellos No tenían panos de cocina pero pedimos y nos trajeron 2. y creo que solo había horno, no estufa para cocinar..hay que estar pendientes de los mosquitos .. La cocina tiene pocas utensilios , pero nosotros no cocinamos .. el agua de las playas estaban algo frias..

Consigliato alle famiglie.

Posizione ottima, riparata dal caos tipico di Ipsos. Sembra veramente un piccolo paradiso. La piscina è un must, soprattutto per chi ha famiglia, e non ti costringe necessariamente a spostarti in una spiaggia tutti i giorni. Climatizzazione ottima con due climatizzatori nelle due stanze da letto. Struttura con mobilio di recente fattura.

Se ci fossero state delle zanzariere in bagno sarebbe stato perfetto, perché è l'unico ambiente in cui è necessario tenerle aperte.

Cambiate la gestione e fate un po' di manutenzione

Stanza grande, ferro da stiro e asse apprezzatissimi, condizionatore funzionante, stendibiancheria presente, cassaforte con chiave unica. Presenti stoviglie piatti e bicchieri per cucinare qualcosa di frugale (mai utilizzate)

Vasca con tenda orribile, doccino che non rimaneva in posizione, acqua che veniva erogata randomicamente bollente o fredda, pulsante per scaricare il wc marcio, tovaglie NON bianche cambiate solo una volta ogni due giorni, letti mai rifatti, spazzatura della camera mai cambiata, gestore Kostas scortese, maleducato, arrogante e mai sorridente. Quando gli ho fatto notare che un atteggiamento del genere non è idoneo alla posizione che ricopre, mi ha letteralmente risposto "non me ne fo**e un c***o". Inqualificabile
