I like rhe ambiance of rhe Moroccon riads and Le Cheval Blanc was one of them; ;it haa lot of atmosphere. Breakfast was great on top of the building with good views over Safi (by the way, there is no lift so not fot elderly people. Sraff was friendly.
It may be a little difficult to find, but any local in the neighbourhood who sees you walking thre, will know that you come for tle Cheval Blanc. One time I took the wrong alley and immediately locals came to me: 'Le cheval Blanc is in another alley, I will show you!'
Locarion is great in rhe Medina.
Like in many other riads, there is no window that looks outside.but only to a central hall.
I had a room on the groundfloor, next to the reception, so you can hear taking till about 10 PM.

I loved my room on the second floor! This lovely place is run by wonderful women and has such a warm, positive atmosphere. Amal was incredibly helpful and arranged a pottery workshop for me. I learned so much, and the man who gave the workshop was absolutely fantastic. I also loved having breakfast on the rooftop, with its beautiful view over the ocean. A truly special experience!
I am an interieur decorator; this is so over the top Marrocan that after 2 nights I start to love it!

Super location in the middle of the real medina city life, very friendly and lovely people and wonderful authentic atmosphere. Great experience for us.

Our room was on first floor and smelled moldy
No windows and felt like a cave
Rooms on upper levels seemed better
