We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay in Marko Apartments. Everything was spotlessly clean and we had a lovely view of the coast from the balcony. Because of a late arrival we were able to pick up our key from the key safe and on the last day we were able to leave our luggage with the lovely owners meaning we could have a full day exploring Trogir without having to haul our bags around.
We both had a loverly mini break and absolutely recommend Marko Apartments if you are looking for clean, comfortable,no frills accommodation on a budget.
Perhaps a duvet would have been nicer given the time of year

Convenient location.
Decent option for a short stay (1–2 nights).
Free parking available definitely a plus.
Staff spoke very little English, which made communication difficult.
The pool was out of service, even though it was supposed to be open.
The kettle was dirty and unusable.
Overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired.
