I spent two incredible weeks at Hotel Chalet Valluga and the experience was sensational. When I was booking my trip, the only room available was the smallest one in the hotel. Despite being the smallest room, it wasn't an issue at all—the facilities are great, and my stay was perfect, exceeding all expectations. The hotel as a whole is extremely cozy. The food is very good, both breakfast and dinner. Everything they serve is worth every penny; it's a very fair price for the high quality they deliver. One of the greatest highlights for relaxing is the jacuzzi, which is wonderful. Their system works by scheduled appointments, which I thought was an excellent idea. It makes it fair for everyone, as each room is guaranteed its exclusive time slot, and in practice, this works really well. The owners, Dori and Javier, are super caring and attentive, making you feel right at home. I also loved all the hotel staff—everyone is very competent and helpful. All my most important requests were successfully met, and they went above and beyond what I expected to ensure my comfort. Finally, the location is a huge plus: it is very close to the El Colorado resort. In fact, since the route is downhill, if there is snow you can ski straight down from El Colorado to the hotel, making it work almost like a true ski-in/ski-out. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area!
