Bundelkhand Riverside

Beautiful surroundings by a small river. Great for a stay for quiet and nature. The restaurant was very good and the staff was wonderful. The rooms were large and comfortable.

It was rainy so the room felt quite damp and cold.

Stayed in the pool view room. Close access to the river is the highlight. Staff is very courteous. Rooms are tastefully furnished. Restaurant dinner is very good. The front desk will help you with the organising railway station pick-ups and drops, as well as e-rickshaws to go the Fort and the Chhatris.

Staff is so nice, the hotel is beautiful, we could check out later and the staff helped to arrange a driver. Rooms are spacious with lovely views over the river.

I think the food portions/taste could be improved with some dishes. Some dishes were very good.

Location is beautiful. The gardens are very well kept. The restaurant staff were great as were the cleaners and bell boys. Hotel offered a tour of the main attractions in the town for a very reasonable price. Sanjeev the driver was very friendly.

The manager when we checked in insisted on taking pictures of us on his phone and tried to say it was because it was a requirement which we know to be false having stayed in many other Indian hotels in the region. This made us feel uncomfortable and we declined. The bed linen was stained on arrival however the staff changed this. The shower was not working and was cold when we arrived. This was fixed however it should have been checked prior to our arrival.
