The garden, the breakfast, the host, the room
Only 2 out of 6 downlights working in bathroom, spa bath not maintained, dirty with limescale, not functional as water cylinder not functional for a warm hot tub, possible fault with hot water cylinder

This was a beautiful place to stay to celebrate a birthday. The gardens were idyllic and the garden room was comfortable in spite of the very hot weather. We enjoyed our breakfasts and the location was great for exploring Matlock. We brought home a lovely bonsai tree as a memory of a very special few days.

The accomodation was fine and the spa bath was good,
The waterfall was dried up which is why I booked the holiday , it was so disappointing, so that for me ruined the holiday , so we came home a day early ,
