The guesthouse is located on a vineyard in the beautiful Herzegovinian countryside. it has very good facilities but unfortunately the pool was empty and the sauna was locked. However, the eating here was excellent - and of course we enjoyed great wines with our dinner. Attentive and charming family owners provided personal service.

Hidden away in a very pretty and leafy part of Herzegovina, this small hotel has wonderful hosts who are most willing to provide you with home-cooked meals, their own wine, eggs from their chickens, as well as fruits and vegetables from their own garden (there is also local prosciutto and cheese if you feel peckish, but don't want to eat a full meal). The lovely hostess Nada adjusted our breakfast offerings based on our own preferences simply by noticing what we liked, and both she and her husband Vlado made sure we felt at home and well looked after. The pool is also great, and has lovely views.
This is not a downside, just something to bear in mind: the hotel does not have an ordinary restaurant; all meals apart from breakfast are arranged with the hosts in advance. The place is not really close to any shops or restaurants, but, even if you don't have a car, Vlado can recommend a taxi service.
