    The hotel interiors are a vintage style with excellent staff behaviour. The hotel arranged for a cake to celebrate my birthday which was very touching. Food is good.However, the wifi is very weak and unstable and gets disconnected every 10 minutes. All in all it was a wonderful stay

    Lovely decor in the room. Wooden furniture. High class feeling. Nice pool. The breakfast room was a bit caotic. The staff could have cleaned the tables a bit more often. Otherwise an amazing stay.

    We had stayed in JC several years ago and absolutely loved it and decided to book this hotel again this year. Staff were polite and pleasant. However, sadly, service during the 2 days is a little disappointing. 1st day at breakfast, we were led to a table that was not properly cleaned and had to request 3 times before someone actually came to clean it. Staff seem to move at a leisurely pace to get things done - not sure whether they are unsure about what to do or not alert enough to respond to diner's needs. For laundry, we had indicated specifically on the laundry sheet a particular stain to be removed and also informed the guy who came to collect the items, but discovered later after the laundry was returned that the stain was still there. No calls given to tell us in advance that the stain cannot be removed, otherwise we would not have given the item for laundry. Similarly, ordered filter coffee for room service and it never came until we called again to enquire. Only then were we told there was no filter coffee only bru coffee. Staff communication and competency needs improvement. Parking not first come first served. Driver told to park the car at another facility because they give priority to parking for meetings and not to guests staying at the hotel. This is discriminatory practice.
