Beautiful country house in an alpine valley.

The host lady was super friendly and had good english. Very beautiful location in an alpine valley. Everything I needed for a good night's stay was there and breakfast was delicious. If you like cats then there are so many of them wandering around in the area.

It was cold during the night, the heater was only lukewarm at the top, but we could sleep well unde the matress. Also there is a persistent smell of manure all around the pension, but that is a fact near many Austrian B&B.

Pleasant rural and homely feel to the whole place. We were given a whole apartment in an annexe building. Although we hadn't booked dinner and arrived in the middle of the serving, we were able to eat a good full meal of home cooking. Very filling breakfast too.

There is some noise from the nearby main road, but not enough to disturb sleep.

Nice village and friendly owners. Home made breakfast from local ingredients.

Apartment was really close to the animal stages, so we were accompanied with millions of flyes, which was pretty annoying.

The owners are very friendly. There is space to park the car around the house. The flat was big and could easily accommodate 4 or more people. We went there to attend a wedding in the area, and it was a great home base. A few nice routes for hiking around as well.

Only recommended if you have a car to go in and out of Rangersdorf, although there is a bus stop down the road.

The stay was exceptional and we will be happy to come again, not only in winter but also in summer.

Breakfast was great and we also had delicious dinners prepared by the most hospitable owners - the owner is a cook and has 18 cows, piglets, three cats and a guinea pig. He is also engaged in carving wooden sculptures and singing in choirs. A lot of food was produced at home and you do not have the opportunity to eat it every day. It was a paradise for our children, who are 9 and (almost) 2 years old, because the owners liked to show them the animals. Every morning the lady checked the weather conditions on the ski slopes and told us which ski area was worth going to. So we spent the whole day skiing in the beautiful family ski areas, which were illuminated by the sun.
