Apartments set in beautiful gardens among banana, pomegranate and olive trees. The pool is adequately sized pool for a few claps (unless you’re an athlete perhaps) There is a gorgeous regular cat colony. Good parking right outside. Friendly and helpful cleaners.

Be aware that the pool is not available to non-swimmers or toddlers even when accompanied by an adult. Also not available even if you’ve arranged to check out late. Also the parent has big French windows so anyone walking past or sunbathing outside can look straight into some apartments. These things didn’t bother us but might be an issue for some. Comfy bed and lots of hanging space in the wardrobe. The kitchen is adequately equipped for a holiday. There are beaches, decent restaurants and big supermarkets within walking distance as is the bus stop to Chania.

Fantastic location short walk (5-8 mins?) to both the beach, and big supermarkets Lidl and Synka, and the bus stop to Chania, and local restaurants. We had room 206 upstairs (a first floor one bedroom apartment with pool view). Our bedroom was separated from the living/kitchen area which was great as my partner snores so I mostly slept on the other bed in the living room very peacefully, this also had a mattress topper on. Loads of coat hangers provided for clothes was a great bonus, and two balconies to sit. Plenty of plug sockets everywhere. I Love the decor and living room lighting. Gorgeous snuggly fluffy warm throws in the wardrobe and extra pillows (it was autumnal weather when we stayed). The kitchen had the added bonus of a microwave! Which was SO helpful! Also has toaster, kettle and modern hob top. Beautiful garden area around pool. Nice little cafe/pool bar doing drinks and snacks during the day. Super helpful and friendly staff :) Lovely cats everywhere and cute kittens. The pool has a safety fence around it which is perfect if you have young toddlers running around to keep them safe, or elderly pets. We actually wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately they were booked up. We love it here and will return.

We did not need to use the air conditioning, but I did notice it’s only in the bedroom so in August the property may get quite hot unless you have the bedroom door open and the unit running to cool the full apartment. No mosquito net door screens at the patio doors (which are the only windows). There is a dog that barks a lot who lives close by, obviously this is not the property’s fault, the poor doggy just needs more walks and attention.

The location is very good, not crowded with tourists. the property has a beautiful amount of greenery, the staff were friendly and helpful, and having access to the pool was a real advantage. Very close to the beach. Pretty convenient access to Chania center by city bus 21. There was also towel change after 3 days, which is nice.

Unfortunately, the condition and cleanliness of the accommodation were a major disappointment. There were large numbers of ants inside the apartment, to the point that we had to keep all food in the fridge or microwave otherwise the ants would get to it. There was also a persistent smell of wet damp rug and cigarettes inside the apartment which we were unable to get rid of, even after airing it out. The kitchen equipment was another problem. Some of the dishes were dirty, and the frying pan was so old and burnt that it was not usable. When we asked for a replacement so that we could make eggs for breakfast, instead of receiving a new pan, I was given instructions on how and with what to scrub the old one. In the end, we simply stopped making eggs for breakfast, even though they are something we really enjoy. In general equipment was rather spartan, you need to juggle to make use of it. The bathrooms also need significant attention. There was something looking like mould in the shower, and the drains could not cope with the water from even one shower, causing the bathroom to flood. The mattresses were very old and we could feel the springs, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Bed could be also wider as for 2 person. There were also nasty looking stains on the wall in the head of the bed, which made you wonder about cleanliness and sanitation. The outdoor air-conditioning unit also had a strong damp smell, which made it difficult to dry our clothes outside. On two occasions, when we had early morning trips planned, there was no hot water at around 7 in the morning and after 22 in the evening, which was quite inconvenient. Usually there were car parking places available at the facility, however few times there were none, so we had to look a spot around the street.
