In spite of the rain we had a lovely time . Arthur couldn’t be a more attentive host- and his family style cooking while sitting in front of a roaring fire was perfect for a winter evening . Stayed in a room that had been the stables - very nicely done ! Thanks Arthur, we will be back.

La finca está muy cuidada, y es muy agradable. La piscina está fenomenal, los niños disfrutaron mucho. La zona en la que nos alojamos era muy amplia con acceso a una terraza muy cuidada. Los anfitriones muy atentos, y amables.
El mobiliario es muy bonito, pero poco práctico. Te traslada a otra época.
Con niños pequeños es complicado gestionar que no toquen nada. Y los colchones um poco duros.

It was an absolutely unique experience staying at 1720. The winery history, superb renovation of the winery buildings and the contemporary touches - refreshing natural water pool, the container bar and wine storage area, room amenities. Arthur goes above and beyond to make each guests stay enjoyable and comfortable.
There are several indoor and outdoor areas to relax and a highlight for us was having dinner prepared by Arthur and Palmira and served with paired local wines.

Absolutely stunning place - a beautiful farmhouse and winery with a great swimming pool and excellent breakfast. Owner was very friendly, welcoming and helpful - the location is great for exploring Braga, Guimaraes, Porto and Geres, and the wines produced here are amazing! Really nice place to stay
Just could do with an air cooler for hot summer nights
