A good place to relax (if your neighbours will let you)

The room was in line with the low price, it was tidy, as advertised. I recommend it for travelers requiring an overnight stay. Its location is very close to the central square (the best kebabs you'll ever taste are at Cafetaria Wadi, a 5min walk)

Unfortunately, and through no fault of the hotel, a ridiculous couple staying in the same hall decided to go on the rampage, screaming and slamming doors until the wee hours of the morning. This highlighted the thin walls of the room.

A bit away from Breda but worth it

I had the last room available, it was like a small 1 bedroom flat with kitchen. If I stayed longer that would have been very convenient. Great welcoming from the staff and the locals.

Location. Staff. Convenient cafe/bar. Secure place for the bike. Great WiFi. Shower had really nice pressure. It was very clean. Many toilets.

I can’t say overall because I haven’t been on every room, but my room, number 2, was uncomfortable. The mattress is outdated or I felt it too soft. Pillow was very hard (so I couldn’t use it). And there was no air flow/circulation. They provide a fan but it wasn’t enough. Maybe on winter is nice, but on hot or humid days is not great. Also being on room number 2 meant I couldn’t even let the door open, everybody passes by to get to their rooms :/

It should be illegal to rent out a room like this. It was really horrible. Room was right under the roof and it was incredibly hot, with no air conditioning and only a tiny window where you cannot even look out. The room was very dirty and so was the external bathroom. There wasn't even any soap! I would not stay here again if it was free, but then also to charge this amount of money for something like this is simply crazy. AVOID!

The always-available parking and the possibility of early check-in (subject to availability).

Almost everything else was a downside, except for what I mentioned above. First, the receptionist wasn’t very welcoming. But what bothered me the most was that after I arrived at the hotel, I was told there would be a party that night, with loud music until 1 AM. I had contacted the hotel twice, two months in advance, and no one mentioned anything about this! Had I known, I would have definitely canceled and booked somewhere else! Also, the room I booked looked bigger and was supposed to face the street, according to the pictures. However, they gave me a much smaller room at the back of the hotel. Secondly, the hallways smelled strongly of smoke, and the room had a deadly combination of dampness and unbearable heat! Imagine a room for three people with only one small fan! It was honestly the worst night of my life! We couldn’t sleep more than an hour because of the heat, the music, and the bad odors. The bathroom smelled like urine and there was no soap, shampoo, or any cleaning supplies at all. I travel a lot and have stayed in over 150 hotels in my life, and this was by far the worst (if I can even call it a hotel). My advice: avoid this place, even if it means paying triple elsewhere!

Workers' hostel/cafe - not a hotel.

The shower & WiFi were good, breakfast was pleasant.

They didn't take Visa or Mastercard so we had to walk for 30mins late at night to get cash. We were charged,, €2.50 for a small glass of water. There was lots of noise from other residents up to midnight and from 6am - it seemed more like a workers' hostel than a hotel.

Quite a basic hotel, no bells & whistles, however, great staff, friendly attentive, good atmosphere. Absolutely perfect for visits to Arnhem & Nijmegen. Nice quiet area, My room did not come with a toilet/shower, but there were plenty on the floor I was on, no waiting, no other people's mess

Nothing was bad, nothing was a really a negative for me, if I was pushed, maybe a little modernisation, but as I say this did not detract for me at all

A very welcoming and homely atmosphere where the locals came for a beer and a chat downstares. The room was small but very clean and the beds very comfortable, all for a very good price. Two minutes away from Osterhaus center with shops and restaurants.

We have no negative comments, only positive ones.

Pleasant ground floor, breakfast room, and restaurant. Staff helpful and patient, able to communicate in several languages. Good beds.

Stairs to rooms, steep, unsuitable for older or mildly handicapped guests. Rooms lacked a few basics, such as soap, accessible table lighting. Very basic furniture. The amenities did not match the price paid. But, having said that, overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would come again, as problems could mostly be rectified.
