Excellent visit to Split.

Great location with some good restaurants and pubs 5-10 mins walk. Fabulous view of the sea from the balcony. Really really comfortable big bed. Excellent large clean bathroom. Dora and Oliver could not have been nicer. Excellent value for the price.

Very minor things. Had to unplug the Tv to plug in the kettle. Very fiddly. A little mould/peeling paint. Just a little. Room was small but cosy.

Comfortable enough but for use as a base

Nora who welcomed us was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the area . The room was clean, a good, comfortable bed and a good shower. The kitchen was well equipped but we didn’t use it during the stay.

It was a distance out from the centre although we did realise this when booking so can’t complain about this really but we now feel that location is more important. We did have a view of the sea but we couldn’t get past the unfortunate heap of discarded scrap that was obstructing the view, this was not something that you could avoid to notice. Also the pool was uninviting as it too looked unkempt and full of leaves. If the pool is advertised it should be suitable for use.

Great place to slow the pace of life

We loved that this place was away from the cruise-ship-crazy of Old Town, but an easy 20 minute walk to get there when we wanted. We swam in the sea several times, as it was warmer than the pool. Great restaurants nearby. Wonderful host, Dora, who met us on arrival. Immaculately clean. Comfortable bed.

The hot water takes a while to come through, but Dora warned us about that, so we let the tap run for a bit.

Lovely clean, well located and safe apartment.

It was a good location. Walking distance to Split city centre and five mins from a lovely beach.

Great place to stay

Room lived up to expectations. Spacious room with very comfortable bed and addition of sofa and chair for relaxation. Great view of the sea from the balcony. Walking distance to sea front, and town with several restaurants and shops within a few minutes. Quiet. Would definitely use it again.

We were lucky when we choosed this; one week stay, first time at Split (it's better than Dubrovnik)

Nice and clean basic apartment at very quiet area and near Firule Beach. Dora is very kind and helpful; where you have got a private tourist information about city, restaurants etc when you check in ? And we were lucky, got very early check-in and -out because we had early flights. Pool is good (and rare at this area, so near Old City) and air condition worked fine.

Just only note there; breakfast, "about this property" says: "Breakfast is served in the "Luxury Boban" restaurant that is 50m away from Apartments Zuvela"... Note that there is NOT breakfast included at price.

Excellent stay, really loved it, very good value for money.

Very spacious room, with a spacious outside table & chair area looking over the pool. Very clean. We asked for our room not to be cleaned during the 7 days we were there as we didnt feel in necessary. However the hosts, who lived onsite, brought clean towels, bedding & toilet roll every couple of days. The pool was clean, not much room for sun beds if other guests were all there but this only happened once whilst we were there. Sun on the sunbathing area from about 11 until 5/6ish. Dora who met us on check in was great. She gave us lots if information about the surrounding area, shops, restaurants, buses etc. If we needed anything at all we just messaged her or the host and they were there within the hour at most. The city centre was around 20 mins walk, mostly flat. but there is a big spar shop 5 mins walk away, plenty of bars 5 mins away and only 5 to 7 mins walk to the beach where there are bars etc too. Th apartment is half way up a hill to get back to or up lots of steps. I am quite lazy to do with walking but I did find this ok. If you go here, visit the Pizza/pasta place call Tudors, just at the bottom of the hill where the property is, very good values for money, cheap drinks and cocktails.

I wouldn't say i didnt like it, but there wasn't much in the way of cooking utensils, pans, oven trays, oven glove etc. We staying in some nights and cooked in the apartments and it was a little tricky so we had to base our meal around this. But I am sure if we had asked for things they would have been accommodating as they were about everything else.

Not worth the money

We booked this apartment as it had the pool facilities however we didn’t get to make use of this despite paying over the average cost of a 4 night stay in Split compared to that of accommodation without a pool. We paid the higher rate specifically for a pool. For 3 days in a row a large group of guests had taken over the small pool area from the early hours until sundown. When staff were questioned as to how other guests could make use of the facilities if the large group were going to use it everyday, the answer we got was that they were leaving for their next destination later that day (meaning they had already checked out) why should they get preference over guests paying for the current stay? The following day, another large group arrived and took over the pool space but this however was early morning (as we had specifically gotten up early to use the pool). This group had not yet checked in but yet were allowed use the facilities thus blocking it from current guests who have paid for this facility and were in the middle of their stay. The rooms aren’t overly clean, quite run down, nothing like the pictures. Balcony was dirty, looked like it never gets a clean when the room does. The toilet had a smell of urine for the duration of our stay.

Dora was lovely and helpful. She answered all our queries rapidly. Lovely bathrooms and view.

It was a shame the shower head and also the chopping board in kitchen were both mouldy. I’m sure easily replaced.

Relaxed beach based finale to our interrailing trip.

Great location for the beach, supermarkets, harbour and a 15 minute walk to the centre. The area is quiet and family friendly. The view from the balcony was incredible and the hosts were so kind and helpful. The pool was clean and a welcome relief from the busy beach.

It was just what we wanted.

It was all amazing, the pool was great, the apartment was a good size and had everything we needed. The owners were helpful and friendly.

The hob was confusing and we didn’t get told how to use it. The aircon also took some trial and error before it worked.

A fantastic stay - perfect for our trip!

Apartments Zuvela was a great stay. The view from our balcony was fantastic, the pool was an amazing feature and it was in a good location close to the beach and only 25 minutes walk to the Old Town. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of storage and a huge bathroom. Dora met us when we arrived and was very friendly and welcoming. She told us lots of information about the local area, where to find everything and what to expect during our week which was so helpful!

We were in a double room however we had hoped for an apartment. It would have been nice if we’d had a kitchenette although we did have a small fridge and a kettle.

Lovely holiday in Split

Lovely family running the apartments, pool area was great, very comfortable beds, easy access to the Old Town via Uber (we found the walk along the coast to be closer to 40 minutes), local restaurants, beach and bars within a 5 minute walk

Whilst the duplex apartment was a little quirky with the main bedroom eaves affected and the kitchenette not really practical for self catering, this didn't detract from our stay.

Very happy with everything in the apartment.

Being a residential area, it was lovely and quiet. It's a 20 mins walk to the old town and harbour which can get very busy and crowded, so I appreciated the park, coffee bar, and supermarket close by.

The staff, including the owner of the property was very nice and welcoming. The location of the property was very good - only a 15- minute walk to old town and Riva . We had a pleasant stay.

They only accepted cash as I had chosen pay at property. There was also no toiletries- no shampoo

Great!

The host was lovely and very informative. He presented us with a bottle of wine upon arrival which was a lovely touch! He also gave us a map of where to find things and recommendations for local restaurants etc. The room was lovely with a great balcony. We didn't use the swimming pool area as we had lots going on but it was great to have the option :)

Great location, friendly host and very comfortable.

The apartment we stayed in was comfortable and spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. The bathroom had a big walk in shower. The location was near a lot of lovely restaurants and a grocery shop. It’s close to the old town which is only 20 mins walk away. The host was very helpful and friendly and even drove us to get food at a local takeaway the first night we arrived. Lovely takeaway Mala Kuka nearby. Also Dvor restaurant was amazing.

The only downside was the bed sheets were not changed during our 5 day stay. However we were very pleased with everything else.

Nice apartment with partial sea view. Lovely and clean, quite small but very good value for money. Hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, meeting us a few days after our stay to give us back a charger we had left behind. Couldn't fault the hosts at all

Great place for vacation

Apartment is in great location - in walking distance: 5 min to sea/beach, 2 SPAR markets and Studenac market, local fruit/vegetable store, 2 cafees, several tasty restaurants (Konoba Nevera and Dvor), 15 min to central bus station and old town. Hosts are very nice, communicative (quick response via Booking chat) and helpful - we were given a map with tips to a lot of recommendations in the area and a bottle of wine when checking in. The apartment was clean, there were towels which were changed every 2 days, there were extra blankets in case we got cold. The place is fully equipped - tv, washing machine, dishwashing machine, air conditioning in living room, fridge, a few pots and pan to cook breakfast, wine opener, a seating place on the balcony and a rack to dry clothes. We've spent 8 days here and it felt like home. The hosts were kind enough to let us leave our luggage until late afternoon on our check out day. Tip: make sure you have cash to pay for the apartment, credit cards are not accepted.

Bed in sleeping room in apartment no 1 is a bit noisy, so when one person turns to one side, the other one may be woken up - if you have light sleep, take ear plugs. Water in the shower goes down a bit slow, so after one person has a shower, the other one needs to wait several minutes not to stand in water. Apart from that ZERO issues.
