    I found ants, spiders, stains on bed sheets. So many terrible things even though I have paid a very heigh price (because of the festival) I could have saved a lot and stayed in 90% cheaper hotel/hostel with same hospitality quality. I booked the ocean view room, very nice view, but extremely terrible room to the point I wish I booked in the city center

    There is a weird vibe going on in Koh Pha Ngan at the moment which I picked up on in Haad Rin. There seems to be resentment towards Israelis for one reason or another. I did a quick google to see what the craic was. Might be worth taking a look. For a traveller that came to the island 30 years ago to see this is a real shame. Covid has hit the Thais hard as well

    It's close to the parties but far enough that you can have a peaceful nights sleep .. great value for money
