Clean hotel with big and comfortable rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. Perfect location to explore the northern area of the Black Forest. They offer big private parking at the hotel.
There is only a little choice of restaurants in the neighbourhood. You need your car to get to one.

This was such a fun place to stay. The rooms had a theme to them and made it an adventure. You can tell that the owners have an artistic flare and enjoy sharing their passion. The rooms were clean and the grounds were amazing.
Not the hotels fault but there is limited places to have dinner. Recommend going to a near by village but definitely return for a drink in the gardens.

So glad we picked this hotel, not too far from the gates of the black forest with a nice journey to it from the hotel.
The hotel and grounds were full of quirky decorations, the food was lovely and the bar and cinema room was brilliant.
Beds were comfy.
The staff were really helpful.
Plenty of garages for your bikes.
When I go black forest again, I'll book this hotel!

Quirky, lots of different themes.
No evening meal, no nearby restaurant, had to get sandwiches from Netto… 8 min walk, no bar, very limited drinks from a fridge. Host was quite rude at 10pm, lights out, lounge area closed then told us to be quiet. At 10pm….
