Residence La Scala

While the climb up hill seemed a bit daunting, it was well worth the view. We had a roomy two bedroom with living room that opened, all three rooms, on to a lovely backyard overlooking the town and sea. There was plenty of sheets, blankets and pillows. Very quick acting A/C. Comfortable chairs and tables on the porch. The walk to and from town takes minutes. The owner was outstanding. We had an issue where I dinged another car in the driveway. He was helpful, kind, reassuring. Honestly I can’t say enough. Just a great stay all around.

Bizim gibi uzun tatile çıkan ve çok valizle gelen aileler için odalara ulaşmak oldukça yorucuydu. Dik merdivenler çıkarken ve inerken biraz zor oldu

Mi sono piaciute molte cose di questo residence: la gentilezza del proprietario Kostas e della sua famiglia. La posizione fresca e panoramica, la semplice ma gustosa colazione offerta, la vista dalla mia finestra, la tranquillità e il parcheggio sempre possibile e non ultimo un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Con una valigia molto pesante come avevo le scale da fare possono essere un po' faticose. Diciamo che ci si mantiene allenati! :)

The view of the castle, especially at night

There were over 100 steps (no lifts) to get to our room on the top floor but there is no mention of this when l was booking the hotel. Given l have bad knees, the stairs were most inconvenient and painful. The road leading to the hotel was very tight and only had room for one car to fit which meant reversing to find a spot to allow the other car to pass through.
