Elpis Studio Apartments

Perfetta struttura per chi viene a Creta: ottima posizione, camere grandi e pulitissime, ad un passo dalle spiaggia. Bello piscina con bar che serve caffè, cocktail, panini, pizza. La struttura ha pure un noleggio auto comodissimo che io ho usato e un parcheggio privato. Elpis Studio Apartments è una struttura gestita da una famiglia sempre pronta a soddisfarti in tutto e per tutto con bel sorriso. Bali è una piccola cittadina nel bel mezzo di Creta, utilissima come campo base per visitare tutte le altre spiaggie. Consigliatissima.

Complex is heel goed gelegen midden in het dorp, dichtbij Varkotopos strand met enkele restaurants en naast een kleine supermarkt. Andere stranden op loopafstand. Er is een groot, rechthoekig zwembad, redelijk diep (80cm tot 140cm?) met een klein, afgesloten hoekje voor kleine kinderen. Tevens een bar naast het zwembad met ijs, snacks en drinken. Het appartement was ruim met AC in zowel woon- als slaapkamer. Er was veel keukengerei, ook om te koken en een (inductie) kookplaat voor 2 pannen. We hadden een ruim balkon waar je gemakkelijk met 4 personen (maar ook meer) kon zitten. Vriendelijk personeel, en het afval werd dagelijks opgehaald.

De badkamer, en vooral de douche(bak) is klein. Het meubilair is gedateerd. De wifiverbinding was niet goed. De verbinding viel soms weg en de snelheid was laag. De TV werkte ook niet.

Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza molto positiva con i gestori che si sono attivati in maniera eccellente, tempestiva ed efficace per tutte e due le "difficoltà" che abbiamo avuto: ci hanno permesso di fare il check-in oltre l'orario, organizzando tutto in modo perfetto, e, segnalata una perdita dal lavandino in bagno, sono intervenuti immediatamente. Diamo 9 anche per la piscina, molto carina e utile se il mare è mosso (anche se Bali vanta angoli riparati) e per il parcheggio, sempre molto utile. A nostro avviso ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Solo come dato da segnalare, il bagno era pulito ma spartano, con doccia in un angolo (come abbiamo trovato altre volte a Creta). Non abbiamo feedback sulla cucina, un po' datata, perchè non l'abbiamo usata.

Clean room, good location, swimming pool is a plus for kids. Owners kindly put info on the door just for us for practical things such as wifi, should we arrive late.

Booking.com suggested this facility for a family of 4 with 5 and 15 years old kids. Booking.com has 120 photos of this facility which is the first thing you look at when you search for a place to stay. there is only 15 photos after the 80th that show the rooms that were not re furbished. This was a bit misleading as old rooms are recommended for families. I have not noticed that as not checked all the photos and booked a a studio, which was a bit if a shock on arrival. I was told this room was my choice which cannot deny however you could jump in the recommended room without checking the photos again after seeing over 50 nicely refurbished rooms. Staff told me the other rooms would be too small for families anyway, offered me a cancellation which was nice but not a realiatic solution as it was not possible to find a place on the evening of the day you arrive to Bali 4 single beds were in the room as rooms arranged for 3 adults. You need to change your clothes in the bathroom with a 5 and 15 year olds as there was no seperators to get behind. Bathroom is also not refurbished as expected, no shower cabin but curtains. I cannot say beds were comfy in this room For above reasons it was not a good money for value stay As mentioned before pros of this facility ( for a family) is that it was clean and swimming pool is a plus for kids.
