Hostal Mar de Frente

El enclave del hostal es privilegiado, sobre la playa de Castillejos, que es maravillosa, y una pequeña cala. El servicio de limpieza es inmejorable, cada día limpian el hostal de Cabo a rabo, incluidas las barandillas externas. Todo. El hostal respira ambiente familiar, de esos de toda la vida, para personal y clientes. Máxima amabilidad por parte de Maria, Francisco y resto. El buen hacer gaditano. Como viajera incansable, me ha impactado el lugar. Imprescindible habitaciones que den al mar. Dormir con ese ruido es pura paz. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, justas, pero vale la pena. El desayuno correcto.

Diría que nada. Pero como se trata de ayudar a los demás, la habitación individual, en buahardilla, en la que durmió una amiga del grupo, no es apta para claustofóbicos, por la inclinacion del techo y las dificultades para ducharse en la bañera. Para los demás, perfecta. Y hasta romántica!

Unfortunately, the room itself was extremely uncomfortable. It was an attic room with very low sloped ceilings and exposed beams, making it difficult to move around without hitting our heads. The bed was very short, with my fiancé’s legs hanging off the end. It was also unbearably hot, and the air conditioning was ineffective and seemed poorly maintained, making us both feel sick. The bathroom was impractical, with a bathtub under the sloped ceiling and a tiny mirror. On top of that, ants were everywhere—in the room, bathroom, and even on the bed, coming through cracks in the walls and wooden beams. The only solution offered was ant spray, which worked only temporarily.

La ubicación es extraordinaria y la existencia de un par de restaurantes y de un parking junto al hostal a buen precio es un extra necesario y muy adecuado.

Fantastic weekend stay with lovely views and the sea just a few steps away! Nice breakfast room with helpful staff. The restaurant across the road is also great.
