Unique experience in Tuscany

Loved the setting! The view was absolutely beautiful! Enjoyed the special dinner at the restaurant, with wine pairings. Excellent food and the service was great. We enjoyed getting to know the owner and learning about things that made his wine and farming practices unique.

Wish the hot tub and pool had been a little warmer, so we could have enjoyed them. Still loved sitting out by the pool, esp to watch sunset.

Beautiful Farm Stay

I booked this very last minute and was more than happy that I booked this place. The property is like an old farm house that has been converted to multiple apartments. We were 2 couples and a 6 year old that shared a two bed apartment. The apartment had more than enough space and the bed was fairly comfortable. The building is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and peaceful. A beautiful place. Vinci is about a 30-40 casual walk along the road and in the opposite direction there is also another town the same distance (approx. 3km). Empoli was around a 15 min car drive and from there a train to Florence took 30 mins.

This is just minor feedback and not a complaint as the place was amazing. The pool was beautiful, however, it could have done with a net as sometimes there was some debris in the pool. The jacuzzi was nice, however, the water looked like it needed changing so we didn’t use it after the first day. Lastly, on the drive into the property there is a smaller house. I decided to go for a walk one day and on the way back, the 2 large dogs that lived in the small house that you need to walk past ran at me barking etc which I found intimidating, especially as I do not like dogs. The owner eventually called them in and shut their drive way gate. I understand this might not be under the control of the hotel but it was worth noting for anyone else that may not appreciate this and this put me off going for walks.

Lovely stay in the middle of the vineyards

Very nice stay, lovely property, good space, comfy beds, beautiful views of the Tuscany. The staff is nice, starting by the owner. The restaurant is open for dinner and breakfast, the food was very delicious with the wine pairing, very good value for money. We will definitely coming back to enjoy the nice pool.

We find a little roach, although the place was really clean.

We had a fantastic stay at Streda in Tuscany. We arrived well before our check in time of 1700hrs (at about 1030hrs). We were met by Claudio who informed us that our room was already ready. He showed us to our spacious 1 bedroom apartment. Charming room with a large king bed, and one of the more comfortable pullout sofas Ive seen. Our requested high chair and crib were already waiting for us in the room. Most important, the A/C worked great. We stayed in the hottest part of the Tuscan Summer, and the A/C had no problems keeping us cool. We spent HOURS at the awesome pool. It is extremely family friendly: it is about 15m long, half the pool is about 1m deep, while the deeper pool only gets to about 1.5 meters. My 5 yr old son could reach the bottom of the shallow end, and had a blast. We went to the pool every single day. There is also a nice little playground behind the pool in a separate area. Breakfast is cheap and great. 12 euros for adults, free for kids (i think its under 6 or 12). Great selection of pastries, cured meats, cheese, salmon, cereals, milk, juices etc. A woman cooks fresh eggs and will even make them to order. The full sized coffee machine cranks out morning capuccinos or espressos quickly. Huge value for the price. Dinner is really awesome. 3 course meal that starts with a deluge of Tuscan finger foods and appetizers: bruschetta, bread, cured italian meats, cheese, mini omelettes etc. Its so plentiful its almost too much...almost. The Primi featured a great past dish, such as fresh ravioli, or pasta with red sauce. All very delicious. Secondi was a delciious roast pork, or a selection of grilled/roasted meats. So so delicious. Desserts were tiramisu or semifredo. Finished off with some grappa. Just a great overall experience. The wines flowed throughout the dinner, getting tastings from the Belvedere estate.

A few times we ran out of hot water, but when we sent messages via booking, they responded VERY quickly and fixed things so quickly. The couch cushions could have used a cleaning, but we layed a blanket on it and were fine.

We had a very relaxing stay!

The property was easy to get to without a car, we took a taxi. The apartment was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. The pool was gorgeous, clean, and fun. We had dinner on Saturday night and they let us eat it in our room because they didn’t have outdoor seating available at the time.

Since we didn’t have a car, it was hard to get groceries. my son walked into the little village and they had a very small grocery store that had everything we needed.

Wonderful location, quiet, clean. Owners respectful of our privacy: we were free to wander around as soon as we got the room’s key The place is perfect also for families: there is a huge garden ideal to leave children run and play

Everything was perfect! It's located just a several minutes from Vinci city - absolutely lovely small town, and also an ideal spot from which any other famous city can be reached within an hour by car. The room was clean and very nice, the villa is just fascinating! We wont forget this breathtaking view and already wish to come back again :) Highly recommended place to stay!

Super Lage, sehr ruhig, tolle Aussicht

Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die verschiedenen Städte der Toskana (Vinci, Florenz, Pisa,...). Die Aussicht ist traumhaft; für Weinliebhaber perfekt;

Frühstück war überschaubar aber nichts außergewöhnliches; es hat erst ab 8.30h Frühstück gegeben was für eine Familie mit Kind fast etwas spät ist und man früh Ausflüge starten möchte;

Personale molto accogliente ed attento al cliente. Ristorante molto buono con prezzi ottimi. Vino prodotto da loro molto buono. In generale tutti prodotti freschi penso anche di produzione loro.
