Location was perfect as a base, with loads of food places to eat. Staff were friendly as well. Room was clean and bed comfy.

Location right across the train station. The room is clean and basic facilities like tea/coffee and hair dryer available. Sheets and towels are clean. Room quiet enough for a night’s sleep. Breakfast is sufficient to get ahead of the day.

I'd recommend paying the little bit extra and staying in either of the chain hotels along the same road. The staff were exceptional but sadly the room itself fell short.
The room is worn with visible holes in the carpet, the shower reminded me of a shower in shared student accommodation: the drain basin was stained and the silicon had visible mould spots.
Under the bed hadn't been cleaned in a long time and I found random pills (4 or 5) on the floor.
The breakfast isn't worth the money: some yoghurts, toast, cereal and cheap packaged pastries. The coco pops I ate were past their best before
