The building and location are magical. We had dinner while watching a breathtaking sunset - that even got a beautiful round of applause at the end. The staff are some of the best I’ve encountered - combining genuine warmth with excellent service. Can’t recommend it enough to be honest.
Only one observation - unfortunately we stayed one night during a heatwave and our room definitely needed more ventilation. The room was like a sauna.

Great location - able to watch the sunset and just walk to your hotel in minutes (however the taxi to town is only 5eur so...)
The hotel closes at 11pm and afterwards nobody is there to open the front door for the guests. I was woken up at 11.30pm by a couple ringing the bell and knocking on the doors to get in - I had to go down to open the door for them. If there is nobody there - give guests the keys from the doors (it's not that hard...).
For the price I would have expected the breakfast being on time - at 9am there was no plates and cutlery on the tables - the breakfast got served at 9.20. I had plans to leave at 9.30 so for me it was completely unacceptable that they would be late like this. Everyone was waiting and there was very lil remorse from any of the hotel stuff.
