Hotel Walida

Overall the stay was superb and breakfast was too good.

The check in time must be extended to 11:00pm or 12:00am

Nice and rustic inn. The family owning is very kind and extremely helpful with planning tours. The location is great, right next to the lake and by bus and walking close distance to the center of Interlaken. Rooms are basic, but meet all needs! The breakfast is for free and a very generous spread!

The room was cozy and clean bathroom, very close to the bus station and less than 2 min walk to the lake

My stay at Hotel Walida was not that great. Everything felt very minimal, almost like resources were being rationed. There was no body wash in the bathroom, and when I asked, I was told it would be provided during cleaning—so had to insist to get one, and only one!Towels and the bath mat were also not replaced, just left to dry! I hope they had changed from previous guest Breakfast was a bit unusual compared to typical hotel standards, maybe switzerland version which I initially found interesting. However, when I asked for an egg, I was told no and shown a salad-like dish instead, which was quite confusing. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it would be much better with improved management and service.
