St Christopher's Edinburgh - Original

Location was excellent, close to most things, trains, busses, trams and attractions. The bar/resturant was open to the public, but we had 25% discount on food and some drinks were reduced. We paid for a locker on our last day, £6, to leave our luggage till we were ready to leave.

Our room was on the 5th floor & was only really a single size. Hardley any storage, and had a sloping roof, my husband is 6 foot and had to duck accross most of the room, he also found the shower cubicle too small. We were asked for photo ID on checkin, I queried this as we are UK citizens and nothing on our confirmation said we needed ID, we do not have photo ID driving licences and only had our passports because we needed ID at Birmingham airport, but if we had taken the train of driven we wouldn't have taken our passports with us. The lady who checked us in did not know how she would have checked us in without and didn't ask for our booking confirmation.

Location, comfy, loved discount at Belushis

Very close to Waverley Station for those who are getting off a long plane / train ride with large backpacks. Close to many great places by foot. In rooms across the street from the main area have AC which was amazing. Discount at Belushi’s Bar. Storage lockers on site. Great value. Amazing staff.

Stayed in a 4 bed ladies dorm at the main side and had just a window and a fan it was like a heat sarcophagus. Bed uncomfortable with thinner mattress and my pillow was lumpy so used my inflatable camping pillow.
