Frühstück auf Standardniveau, keine Besonderheiten. Die Lage: Für den Natur- und Frischluft-Liebhaber zu empfehlen. Insbesondere auch für Familien mit kleinem Geldbeutel und Wander- bzw. Radtouristen eine besonders guter Ausgangspunkt mit Wander- und Radweganbindungen. Gebäudekomplex in die Jahre gekommen, das Umfeld momentan sehr ungepflegt, vermutlich in einer Auf-oder Ausbauphase.

Nur für Selbstversorger, keine Gastronomie in dem kleinen ruhigen Höhenort. Rothenberg o.d. Tauber gut erreichbar, auch Busanbindung. Nächste Gastro.-Versorgung ca. 4. Km entfernt.

Ländlich gelegen und nahe zu Rothenburg o.d.T. Der Gastgeber war freundlich und das Frühstück solide.

Insbesondere das Bad schien noch nicht oder vor sehr langer Zeit renoviert worden zu sein.

It was thoroughly clean. When we first walked through the front door, we were greeted by the pleasant scent of cleaning products, and there wasn't a speck of dust to be seen anywhere😊 The owners were incredibly kind. We mostly dealt with the husband, who came across as a very warm and loving person—the kind of person with warm eyes who makes you feel at ease the moment you meet them🙏 The breakfast was truly delicious, featuring both white and whole-grain bread. This was perfect, as I can't eat white bread, while my husband dislikes whole-grain—so it was a win-win. There was also a variety of coffees available😋😁 Don't be alarmed by the somewhat chaotic appearance of the exterior; as far as we could tell, they are in the process of renovating the place. The outside doesn't reflect the inside, because everything indoors is lovely and cozy🙏 The bed in our room was wonderfully soft, and—just like the rest of the house—our room was clean, cozy, and attractive😁 The hotel is perfectly situated if, for example, you need a one-night stopover before continuing your journey south; it’s located just about 6 km from the motorway. We highly recommend this place😁

Outside the front door, there was a seating area under a canopy. However, this particular spot was rather cluttered and not very inviting. Yet that is truly the only negative point, and it didn't matter to us, as it was so lovely inside.

The location is convenient for travelers exploring the Romantic Road, about 5km from Rothenburg. The property is large, with two rental apartments alongside the owners' residence. Our apartment was clean and spacious (two bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom), which was a plus.

The property was difficult to find and poorly maintained—overgrown bushes and tools were scattered around the grounds. Chickens on-site woke us up crowing at 5 AM daily. While the apartment itself was clean and roomy, the decor and furniture felt very basic and dated. Worse, we found expired food items in the kitchen cabinets. The owner was uncommunicative; we arrived late and left early without interaction. No meals are served, and the town is tiny—be prepared to drive to Rothenburg for food. Most disappointingly, the actual condition is far worse than the photos suggest. We will not return.
