The hotel, in a residential area, was very convenient to the airport for the night before we flew home. We were easily able to drop our luggage and return our rental car. Staff was courteous, and the inclusion of a breakfast buffet was welcome. It is a hotel but because the building is old (historic) it can also be called a Masseria so there should be no confusion. We had dinner at a restaurant next door, convenient but more than that, the food delicious and the service great.

The location is decent, but keep in mind that it requires a 10–15 minute walk to the train station, followed by a 10–12 minute train ride to reach the city center. There isn’t much to see in the immediate area around the hotel, apart from the coastline, which features a rocky beach. However, if you're up for a 30-minute walk along the shore, you'll eventually reach livelier areas with more activity.
The staff were not particularly friendly.
The WiFi was essentially unusable due to an extremely weak signal, and reporting the issue did not lead to any resolution.
If your room is located on the ground floor, be prepared for noise from the breakfast hall starting early in the morning.
