Lovely room. Fabulous staff. Excellent food. Can't fault anything. We were visiting Beamish Living Museum the following day and the location of this hotel was perfect. Just 20mins away.

Great location with friendly , helpful staff. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant supplied great variety and high quality food for evening meals. If exploring the North East this is a great base as it is close to A1M for routes north and south.

The room was lovely and clean and had everything we required. The location was also really nice. We have stayed here before several times but not recently.
I found some of the staff not as friendly and welcoming as in previous visits. Unfortunately we were not made to feel welcome to assisted when asked for information.
