It was a great place to be, and we would definitely use this accommodation again.

The staff were great, the room was great and it was a perfect place for a young female solo traveler (the friend I booked the apartment for) to be safe but at the same time have easy access to all the vibrant life of Cape Town.

The view was great. Beds were very comfortable. The space was great.

Room: The glass rails on the balcony, some of them was broken, some of them was loose at the top and some were standing on wood blocks, making it very dangerous for kids to go outside. They had to stay indoors the whole weekend.All the doors was struggling to open to go outside. One of the rooms fan wasn't working. One of the bathrooms extractor fans was broken. The towel railing in one of the bathrooms was broken. The shower head in one of the bathrooms was leaking. One of the bathrooms windows clips was missing. The aircon in the lounge front swinging part was missing. One of the cupboards was broken in the kitchen. Service: The receptionist did not give any instructions upon arrival for how to get to the room.

Great stay but needs TLC

The place was clean and very comfortable to stay in. Housekeeping cleans every day and there are no unwanted creepy crawlies. Staff always friendly and helpful 🌻 Stunning views. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Had a hairdryer on request. Close to many good restaurants and shops.

The elevator broke down and we had to walk up 12 flights. The kids on neighboring floors were also constantly playing around with the elevator, resulting in very long waiting times for elevator. The parking area is very dodgy as well as the staircases, as there isn't lighting on all the floors. The apartment needs maintenance as some things are dilapidated. The gym and pool weren't accessible, the hallway smelled like urine, I suggest they switch their cleaning agent as I suspect that might be the cause Housekeeping didn't always leave towels, so had to ask a few times for towels. Our downstairs neighbor was smoking Marijuana and it came wafting up through every open window or door. The water dispenser in the fridge was leaking, so ended up with a puddle of water we weren't able to properly clean because there are only very white towels and a teatowel. I suggest having a mop and broom available for guests for accidents or spills. Laundry option not really available . Only had three forks and we were 4 people🤣 Fan in main bedroom only worked on lowest setting which didn't help at all

The bedrooms are spacing enough but beds are very tiny. Main bedroom deserves a kingsize bed and not that tiny matter. The space is not used economically

We enjoyed ourselves.

Friendly staff, our apartment was clean and tidy. Good location and good views.

Parking is abit of a challenge considering the refuse area is in the basement as well. There was no washing machine in the apartment yet we confirmed this with two different individuals prior to our stay.

Mixed emotions about the stay but the rooms were atleast clean.

The rooms are serviced daily which is a plus because they’re clean.

Parkings are small and the basement parkings need some attention and are smelly. There’s lot of rubbish that is just left on the sides of the parking lot and kitchen clothes were hanged at the basement on a place that smells pee, I never used a kitchen cloth after I saw that. Then our apartment had a problem with a fridge that doesn’t keep things cool, my entire grocery went off because of a fridge and my kids had to eat ice cream all at once due to it melting and on pictures there is a pool but when we got there we were told it’s not working and has been out of use for over 2 months now, i don’t know why that long knowing it was December time and hot.

Poor standard, condition of apartment - old, kitchen drawers were damaged. Bathroom shower rail was rusty, balcony not cleaned, table old, dustbin in kitchen had no lid, no fresh clean smell. In the first apartment the door didn’t seem to lock properly unless you pull door really hard.

The unit lacked some prestige for being a penthouse unit. The unit had inadequate lighting in the passages, dining room and lounge. The bathrooms were very basic. Some safety concerns as the sliding doors did not work properly with noticeable gaps and some of the glass balustrades on the balcony was unsafe and falling out of there couplings.

The location is great, easy to access from the main road and close to shops and restaurants and the beach.

Being on the main road, it is very noisy!!! We have been staying at Aquarius Luxury Suites for a number of years, but this time we found that the upkeep of the apartment has gone downhill. The shower head doesn't work properly, the drain was blocked, the bedside light was not working, and after the cleaning staff had been they often forgot to bring new towels. We reported the light and the drain, nothing was done about the drain, we were told it was working??!! The light was fixed, however.

DISGUSTING/NO LONGER A HOLIDAY HOTEL/APPARTMENT

Very little. If there was a refund I would have left on day one

The premises are old and tired and need a full refurbishment. The cleaning of the passage was only done on day 5 after complaining. The traffic noise is terrible. No aircons so the doors had to be open. The worst part was huge arguments/fighting two floors down while drinking and gambling were taking place. Reception very aware of the problem but was not able to do anything. due to threats. The tenants/holidaymakers this building attracts is not good

Rooms are not maintained well. Mold in shower. Door couldn't lock, had to wait 45mins for issue to be attended to. Then after 30minutrs of trying to fox, we had to move from our apartment to another one, without a view, with a broken bedroom door.

On arrival the receptionists where very friendly

While the location is great and there is a beautiful sliver of a sea view from the main bedroom and lounge, the noise was appalling. We could not sleep well, there are night clubs across the road that are bust till 3, 4 am! The host did not inform us about the gym nor about the pool on the top of the building, which we only found on our last day. The Host also gave us the incorrect wifi code. The parking is secure, but tiny. You need to drive a small car to fit in the parking. We all felt that the room was clean and the linen fresh, but the building really needed some tlc and was not what we would call "luxurious".
