Nice, quiet location and close by to town

- Location: close to the train station and a short walk into the main town centre - Nice, comfortable size room - Breakfast: it was good though the selection a little limited - Hotel in general was very quiet and all the staff were very welcoming and polite

While we had a lovely stay for the three nights we visited, we did find the value for money a little disappointing. - The bed is soft - this is a personal preference - Construction work on the road directly outside the hotel, however it wasn’t disturbing during our stay - No air conditioning unfortunately and the room was rather warm - No wardrobe to hang your clothes, though there is a hook on the wall and hangers to use - No tea or coffee facilities in the room

The location is perfect, its easy to get to the main train station etc The standard of the room was fine

The reception is not open 24h and is located on an upper floor so during the day anyone from the street can easily get into different floors, gives a strange feeling.

We arrived early but the lady at registration called the maid and told her to clean our room next and then she brought us coffee and a hazelnut cookie (delicious). Other members of the staff were SO FRIENDLY. They would engage in conversation like old friends. My friend had a lot of requests and they were very promote (bringing extra pillow)

Kind of old fashioned room and facilities. No USB port or "European" round power plugs in the room, you need to use an adapter.

I was impressed by the level of service and cleanliness. The room was a good size and very comfortable. It's shower area was small but the doors closed properly, unlike idenitcal showers in other, recent hotels, so the floor kept dry. Thankfully, they had plenty of Euro>Swiss power adaptors and were able to lend me one.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast was unspectacular. The area around the hotel isn't the most 'alive', quite industial and a far cry from the beauty of Fribourg old town

A kettle and cups to make coffee would have been good. There is no fridge.

Perfect stay for a short trip

Very friendly and helpfull stuff. The bed is extremely comfortable. Facilities are okay, reception and restaurant is quite modern and nice but overall it’s a bit an outdated building with small elevators. But you really can’t complain at this price. The room was clean, quite at night and perfect for a one night stay. I would recommend this place for a quick visit in Fribourg if you want the best service for your money.

Entrance is a bit weird, you first enter through a staircase and wouldn’t really expect a hotel reception there.
