Has a lovely friendly family atmosphere. All the staff were really helpful. We met one of the lovely owners who said the hotel had been in the family for 120 years. They refurbished the rooms last year (2025). We had a standard double overlooking the harbour which was perfect. Large double windows which opened fully to experience the full harbour vibe. Highly recommend.
As we told the hotel the refurbishment of the bathroom was superb except that the redesign meant we couldn’t bend to clean teeth without hitting head on shelf. They are aware of this problem - it may just be our room 8. Otherwise all was great.

Great location and lovely staff
Room need a good paint & very basic , no water provided or aircon so v hot and difficulty getting sliding door open for air . Hall in complete darkness and run down :
