Good base from which to explore Speyer from.

This was a good little hotel ideally situated in a quiet location on the edge of the Altstadt and within easy walking distance of the Dom and the city centre. The technical museum was also within walking distance as was the river. Breakfast was buffet style and well stocked in a spacious breakfast room. Parking was off road a short distance from the hotel and easily located.

There were none as it suited my needs.

Nice little hotel near the center of town

Very nice old hotel, remodeled to today's standards. Located near center of town. Nice wooden paneling. Refrigerator. Standing fan. Very efficiently arranged bathroom with glass door that provides sufficient privacy. Nice receptionist. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Free parking lot a few streets away.

The room gets hot on warm days, and window opens to the street which can be noisy. The movable standing fan helps for both problems.

A great little hotel at walking distance from the city center.

Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Everything is clean. The room is just the right size. Window opens to the street. The beds are comfortable with nice linens. Small refrigerator and a movable standing fan. There is a writing desk with a chair. The bathroom is small but modern and well equipped. It has a glass door, but allows for enough privacy. Breakfast offered enough of everything. Nice modern space with a large skylight. There is a great Asian restaurant with a terrace downstairs.

Some noise from the street, because it is necessary to keep the window open when it's warm. The fan will drown out some of the noise.

H1735 no go

The working personal

Old style room, no phone, no ventilation, nevermind AC, way too small. Old furniture, smallest TV I've seen in my life, a big light shinning outside into the window with no screen protector and having to sleep with window open nighttime fly bugs entering the room. Rail train near by. Construction near by. Noisy bed. Crack between the entry door and frame. After having breakfast 2 times, decided not to eat at location anymore. Very basic and minimal options, eggs scrambled looked like having too much water in it. All this won't be a huge problem if the room will be 50% cheaper. Personal/Staff member very pleasant and helpful, I want to Thank to these wonderful Ladies!

Would look for a different place to stay if I ever visited Speyer again.

Breakfast is decent, quite standard for hotels in Germany.

I visited during a heat wave and it was hot everywhere in the hotel. Of course it is fine if there is no climatization, but then some better management to keep the hotel as cool as possible should be done. E.g. opening windows when it is still relatively cool outside, but instead everything was kept closed and stuffy. My room was very hot when I checked in and had one tiny window only that had been left closed. Impossible to get the temperature down and a bad night's sleep. Reception responded quite rudely to the remarks made by several guests on the temperature issue.

Comfortable room with excellent restaurant

Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent shower. Had a meal in the evening in the restaurant which was very good. Hotel parking is available at a short walk away but you can park outside to drop off bags.

Location was central, but really quiet. Nice room, clean, spacious and new bathroom. Very friendly staff.

Meat and cheese for breakfast was very much, but low discounter quality. Quality over quantity would make it a better experience.

Good location for Rhine EuroVelo 15 cycle route. Comfortable bed, fan and good shower.

Reception staff left at 18.00. No restaurant on a Monday. Felt like the hotel was in the process of closing down. Glass door to toilet - totally inappropriate. Had to order breakfast items on previous evening - felt like a hospital!!

Very good

The staff were really nice and helpful. They served a very nice breakfast. The location was very good for accessing all the central and turistic locations and yet was very calm and quit during the night. Although they placed a fan in the room, I could leave the window open during the warm night of July for fresh air. They also had a secure place for my bicycle.

Unfortunately the wifi was not accessible in my room. I have a lot of data on my mobile, therefore I didn't mind much. But this might be very important for some people.

Das Frühstück war ok, ausreichend, aber nichts außergewöhnliches.

Das Zimmer, alles sehr verwohnt, aber sauber, im Bad und im Zimmer funktionierten mehrere Lampen nicht, Fernseher war katastrophal-keine Ahnung aus welchem Jahrhundert der stammt. Die Lage des Hotels ist top, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar, Personal ist auch freundlich.

Alles in allem kann man das Hotel für 1 Nacht sehr gut empfehlen.

Wir wurden freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen. Die Lage ist super. In wenigen Minuten ist man in der City. Preis-Leistung super.

Es wird immer noch online die Internetseite vom Vorbesitzer angezeigt. Das Irritiert. Das Badezimmer grenzt direkt mit einer milchigen Glastür unmittelbar fast am Bett. So bleibt keine Intimsphäre. Das Bad hat weder Fenster nich Lüftung. Der hoteleigene Parkplatz ist ca. 150 Meter entfernt und leider kaum nutzbar. Äste und Bäume liegen quer herum.

Oldschool Hotel, Zimmer klein aber fein, sauber und ruhig, Nähe Fuzo, Alstadt und Dom. Bus in 15 Minuten Gehzeit erreichbar. Frühstück gute Auswahl

Kreditkasrtenzahlung war nicht möglich, ich war 40 Miunten unterwegs, um Bargeld zu besorgen. Info vorher wäre gut gewesen, hätte mir den Umstand erspart.

Wir würden wieder dort übernachten.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, aber dennoch ruhig. Das Zimmer hat hochwertige, dunkle Holzmöbel, ein zwar kleines aber schönes Bad und ein sehr bequemes Bett. Zudem ist alles sehr gepflegt und sauber.

Die Info, wo der Hotel-Parkplatz ist, sollte besser kommuniziert werden.

Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Gutes Frühstück. Sauber. Freundliches Personal.

Parkmöglichkeiten etwas eingeschränkt. Das Hotel hat zwar einen eigenen Parkplatz ewta 5 Gehminuten entfernt, aber das ist eher ein leeres Grundstück mit unbefestigtem Boden und bei Dunkelheit schwierig zu befahren.

Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Die Lage des Hotelzimmers war optimal und lag für Unternehmungen im Stadtzentrum sehr günstig.

Verbesserungswürdig

Zimmer war sehr geräumig und ruhig.

Die Heizung wurde maximal Handwarm. Vorallem im Bad war es zu kalt. Der Fernseher konnten keinerlei Programme empfangen werden. Es war auch nur ein Stuhl vorhanden.
