Staff at the reception were really helpful and granted our request for an apartment on a lower floor as we travel with an elderly person. We got to stay in a two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen in section A4. It was equipped with all kitchen appliances and a washing machine which was a plus.

The mattress on one of the beds was faulty and definitely needs attention. A few bowls and sharper knives would make a difference to the experience as well. There's no shortcut to our favourite beach Robinson even though it is really close and this could be easily fixed by the complex authorities by adding an extra door.

The apartment is in a closed complex with several pools, which is quite convenient for families with kids. As the pool with the ship in it is very shallow, it feels very safe to let kids play around with minimal supervision. There's a decent restaurant and a supermarket right in it, and a few more restaurants within a 5-minute walk. The beach right in front of the complex is not ideal, but better beaches are a short 5 minute walk on either side.

The whole area is overbuilt with little consideration about infrastructure - roads are extremely narrow, parking is a nightmare, complexes are crammed with buildings in a way reminiscent of old communist-era concrete blocks, not leaving enough outdoor space to create a feeling of relaxation. The developers were so intent on cramming as many apartments as possible within the area that they neglected parking space, or even elevators within the buildings - we had to carry our luggage 4 flights up. The complex might have been quite nice when it was first built, but little care seems to have been taken since then and it's slowly falling into disrepair.
