7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
I was shocked at what rooms cost in Madrid, and this hostal was more affordable than most. The location is excellent, right in the center of Madrid near parks and museums. It was clean and very basic, with no extras, except it did have AC. We were glad for the elevator since it is on the 3rd floor.
The room was quite small, with just enough space to get around the bed. The storage area barely held one small suitcase and there was not room to open the second bag. There was a small desk and desk chair, but no where to sit except on the bed

The location, it was clean.
The misunderstanding due to no good English speaking.
9 / 10Outstanding·Aug 2026
The hostal is in a great zone, super safe and close to everything, without doubts it is the main reason I would come back. Besides that, it is a antique building with really neat rooms and best of all WITH AIR CONDITIONER which as a rare resource for a simple hostal/hostel/hotel to have.
The only thing that would make things better is changing a bit the deco (not making it modern as the building is old), perhaps switching cold lights by warm lights and adding some more lightning in the bedroom and aisles would make the difference. Also, they could include shampoo and hair conditioning as well.
