The hostal is in a great zone, super safe and close to everything, without doubts it is the main reason I would come back. Besides that, it is a antique building with really neat rooms and best of all WITH AIR CONDITIONER which as a rare resource for a simple hostal/hostel/hotel to have.
The only thing that would make things better is changing a bit the deco (not making it modern as the building is old), perhaps switching cold lights by warm lights and adding some more lightning in the bedroom and aisles would make the difference. Also, they could include shampoo and hair conditioning as well.

A nice Hostal with a friendly vibe in a great spot with easy access to airport and all the main cultural sites in Madrid..Clean and comfortable and would return on a next visit.

We stayed 3 days no cleaning whatever,
No clean towels.Rubbish not emptied.
Only one chair for two occupants
