Gran Hotel Reymar 4 Sup

Warm and welcoming staff + spacious room with easy access to the beach! We got upgraded to the Junior Suite but we originally booked the Room with Terrace Sea View. Our booking didn’t show correctly in their system despite confirmation on booking dot com. We were assisted well by all the staff and they made sure our stay was lovely. We loved the breakfast buffet especially the jamon and pain au chocolat!! Definitely book bed with breakfast because the restaurant views are amazing! The pool is also well maintained. Pool towels cost 5EUR so either bring your own or buy one from the hotel. Also another plus, hotel transfer to the Tossa bus station is free!!! And they clean the rooms around 11:00am!! Bathroom has all types of showers, wall sprinklers for your body, rain shower head, normal shower head… and temperature control is working and adjustable. The room is also installed with speakers so if you play something from your phone, it’s also audible inside the bathroom!

Our room was 401 and located at the corner, the view was nice from the terrace but there’s some obstruction (trees) since we were in the lower floor. Coming back to the hotel from a day outside, we entered the room and there was a musty smell or sometimes a faint odor could be scented which might be coming from outside.. because our bathroom is unused and closed. One of the rain shower heads in our bathroom didn’t work but there were a lot of shower heads available so it was still comfortable for a bath.

Tossa de Mar is awesome. Hotel was nice. Massage was awesome.

Be careful when booking a sea view room. I was disappointed the the room I was given. It overlooked a parking on a bottom floor although I booked and paid for a sea view room. I asked to be moved, which they reluctantly agreed to do and the room was on a higher floor and had a slight ocean view. What was really bad was my friend who booked a similar room at the same time I did online was given a room with sea view and twice the size.

Nice view. Apartment more than a villa. It was spotless. The breakfast in the hotel was very good. Varied and fresh. The staff were v friendly and efficient.

Not really on the hotel grounds. It was a walk behind the hotel , past all services ( laundry, bottle recycling etc) The steps up to the property were treacherous. We were told there was a shared pool, which was unloved , dirty with about 6 sunbeds. When we asked would it be cleaned we were met with shrugged shoulders and told we could use the hotel pool. Another day there was a power cut. The hotel had a generator. The ‘villas’ are not on the generator and again when we asked about it they couldn’t tell us when it would be back nor came with a solution if it were to run through the night. Day 4 I asked about a room clean and some towel changes ( all of which have a Reymar symbol on them. ) I was told there was washing powder provided and I could wash them myself!!!.. when I questioned this the solution given was to go to the laundry with the dirty towels and exchange for fresh ones. All of this just made us feel like the “poor relation” The well known Swedish brand interior is about as basic as it comes.
