The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. Excellent rapport with guests. The pool area is wonderful. The chairs and cabanas are free to use. It was never too busy and the pool itself was in the shade in the evening which was welcome after a hot day. The staff showed me on a map where to get the Linea 4 bus into town (it would be useful to have bus timetables in reception). There is a decent supermarket called El Jamon nearby to get essentials. The bathroom has a very good hairdryer. The room was also lovely and cool.

My son was hoping for a duvet. There was only a top sheet on the bed. We did find blankets in the wardrobe. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom which I really missed. The pool doesn’t open until 11 which I thought was too late if you wanted a morning swim before going out for the day but it stayed open until 9pm. It was too far out to walk in and out of town but taxis were only 5 euros into town and the bus service is only 1 euro 10. There aren’t a lot of cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

We read the reviews just before we left to visit the hotel and honestly my heart dropped, so when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. I think it depends on the room you book as to its situation, ours was spacious and clean, the bed was huge and comfy. Our room was cleaned well every day, the hotel itself is lovely, it has restaurants etc nearby. I see what people say about the pool, it’s a beautiful area, it has got a bit of bird poo on the floor, but the birds fly over it, the pool is great, a good size, there were plenty of loungers. Staff were all great, we enjoyed our stay very much. We would return.
