The restaurant was exceptional. We stayed t he erects an overnight on the way to Sicily from Sorrento.
It was early spring so the grounds weren’t really in good shape. Our room was very chilly.

Lovely room, in a pleasant garden. Situated on the edge of Castrovilari, next to a fabulous restaurant.
Gaia who runs the place was efficient and very helpful.
The shower water was only lukewarm

The wonderful owner is so proud of this part of italy, Calabria, so often overlooked by tourists heading south to Sicily, and he is an awesome guide to its many charms.

The breakfast was very good, with local products and home baked cakes.
cleanliness was very bad, with body hair everywhere and the toilet hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived.
