Great one night stay

Everything was really nice, even though we stayed only one night and didn’t had the chance to explore everything it has to offer, we liked the attention to detail and calmness.

It was nice to use the spa area, but we thought it could have more to offer especially taking in to account the price per person.

Beautiful room and location in the hills, food excellent.

Beautiful and large rooms, set out on a steep hillside, peaceful location 5 mins from Barberino Outlet. Food very good though a repetitive menu if staying a week. Sun umbrellas are in fixed positions so most sun beds are not shaded orbit of the day which made relaxing by the pool impossible for me as I burn easily.

Lack of shade around the pool. First room had a view of the garden staircase instead of the garden but we were moved after 2 days to a room with a beautiful view.

Lovely villa in the tuscan countryside

We had delicious dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. Make sure to book dinner in advance. The jacuzzi inside the room was sooo nice in the evening. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location. Far from everything. If you are looking for a Toscanian experience (agritourism) then definitely this is the place for you. Close to barberino outlet for shopping…

Lunch and dinner are very expensive compared to what you get. Steak is very small… same is the raviollo…

Great place for relaxation

The hotel is very nice surrounded with greenery and beautiful nature. The staff were very welcoming and kind. Rooms are clean and well decorated. Breakfast was exceptional (they are very generous). The hotel is near to Barberino Outlet.

The road that leads to the hotel is grumpy, not suitable for small cars. One of the rooms we reserved had very sharp high steel stairs (not suitable for all people)

quiet and lovely

Excellent food. Everything felt incredibly fresh, which for me is a huge bonus. The staff was lovely and available by email for any question I had even before arrival. The setting is pastoral—you see green on every side. There’s a horse farm where you can go for a ride. Truly charming. We didn’t try the spa, but my husband had an in-room massage and was very pleased. Very clean. Recommended for anyone looking to escape all the city noise. A car is essential.

The room was small, but really that’s all you need. There was no bathtub. You could hear people entering and leaving their rooms a bit. The internet went out for us a few times.

The road to the hotel was ok not as bad as how the other reviewers claimed . So don’t worry unless you have a very low sports expensive car ! Location is great between the cities and if you wanna relax and enjoy .

Poor performance on hospitality and customer experience

Been to over 60 countries, been everywhere in Italy but this experience was new to me. We booked a room which was literally stated it had a bath with a view. When arrived after a long day of travelling we got a (smelly, not so clean) room, no bath and certainly no bad with a view. Next morning tried to resolve the issue with the staff. Staff blamed booking.com as in their opinion it was translation error. They did not step up and take responsibility. Just using nonsense excuses on language and repeating their position (sometimes in a rude way) So we left. I kindly asked the hotel to reimburse the remaining two nights as we paid for three nights. The hotel refused to compensate us for the remaining two nights, ridiculous. So we paid €711 for one night (1 of 3) in a (smelly) room that did not match the description (no bath with a view) Hotel gets paid, we get to pay a high price for poor performance (or deceit if you like) and additional costs for another hotel. PS: Perhaps also a “translation error” the hotel is not 20 KM’s from Florence, it’s 50. (Google Maps)

the outside bath tub is heated, and the shower in the room is gorgeous , good food!!!:)

th big pool is not heated,awful stairs in room nobody helped with lugage , needed fowers for a birthday couldt get any help!

Beautifull property with wonderful stuff who were always friendly and extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast and great dinner menu (especially for non vegetarians).

My wife is vegetarian and found herself with limited options on the dinner menu. The mosquitos, even at the end of October, was a problem.

Excellent hotel, excellent staff, excellent food. I work in Barberino once per month and this will be my new regular hotel. Thank you to all the team who made my 2 day stay fantastic. I will also return for personal holiday and recommend to my friends.

The property is on a Tuscan hillside, and if you are in the bottom of the hill suites it is a bit of a walk to the restaurant and bar if you are unfit. But you do have your own private pool for a few suites and if you ring reception they will collect you in a golf cart.
