Lara Otel

Old hotel, although common areas are maintained & rooms are satisfactory. A/c, wifi, fridge in room. Parking easily available in the street. Nice pool area. Duden falls nearby. Restaurants nearby. breakfast was ok.

It was like living under the flight path till midnight (noisy). Needs an update (not obvious from photos). Bed mattress was very old. Tried to put us in a twin bed, but changed to queen when we complained.

Loved the view, from the room, from the pool, from the restaurant, it's just in such a great spot. The place is kept clean and tidy, not exceptionally, but good enough. Room was quite spacious with a small balcony. Good lighting and wardrobe space with plenty of hangers. Aircon was good. Minifridge had a good selection, and I thought was reasonably priced for a mini fridge (I'll add photo of prices) Breakfast was really good, especially for someone getting their teeth done, as they have quite a few soft options and their scrambled egg was decent. For the normal people, the selection looked pretty good. As the weather was quite stormy, I only visited the beach once... It's only about 100 steps if you take 2 at a time. The storm had wreaked havoc though so it probably wasn't in the best state. The pool area was lovely though, and the pool bar charged about £7 for a large Effes. Murat the receptionist was very nice, and after checkout said I could use the pool and store my suitcase until I get picked up.

Not much to not like really... For the price, I thought it was brilliant. Yes it's a bit rough around the edges, some bits of the building could do with repairs, but overall I had a great stay.

- I loved the sea view from the room, it was exceptional. - It had its own private beach and beach bar. - Own balcony to smoke on. - Their breakfast was amazing and very healthy. - The restaurant food was very delicious, fresh and amazing. - The staff were exceptional. Special thanks to Eren and Burak at reception. Murat from the restaurant and sometimes at breakfast and to Ali who always remembered my earphones haha. They made our stay extra special.

The area around the pool was lovely with great views

The breakfast wasnt particularly good. No English breakfast tea and the cooked food wasn't good. The hotel is a bit tired and not the cleanest. When the room was cleaned each morning none of the water or teabags were replenished. The cups were only rinsed out and not replaced. The restaurant could have provided a better range of food considering there was nothing else in the area
