The location and it’s private beach is second to none.

The rooms are a bit behind on maintenance.

Wonderful location, with an amazing beach downstairs. Duden Park and Duden Falls are located at five minutes away and you could continue enjoying walking and running along the esplanade for kilometres. The hotel has a very nice pool and good restaurant located on the lower level. Prices are reasonable given the location, but also you could find many others restaurants in the area, in walking distance. For aviation geeks, the location is offering a good spot to observe the one plane after the other aligned for landing.

The property itself needs badly a capital renovation, everything is absolutely worn out. Also, the guy yelling “minibar control” in the morning and actually entering the rooms to check it has to be fired or sent to wash the floors. For people looking for quiet spaces: please be aware that the hotel is located just on the flight path for landing which can be uncomfortable due to the noise.

The buffet was good. They really had a variety of different food. The room was really outdated. The bathroom was quite old and not well maintained. One day they did not have warm water, so I had to shower with the cold water. The bathroom smelled bad soon when u closed the door and kept it closed for a few hours. The balcony door was not able to lock. The TV was too small. What else..... o yes the view was amazing. In addition, the private beach was beautiful but to remind you that you need to take almost 200 steps to claim back to the hotel. So, that was also exhausting. There is no lift to get back to the hotel from the beach. The restaurant next to Lara hotel was very expensive, we paid for the coke zero 6 euros. Would I come back? Probably, no!
