Palazzo Manzi Terme & Spa

O atendimento dos funcionários é imperdível. O café da manhã é muito bom .

Poderia ter ar condicionado na recepção e no café da manhã para conforto da equipe e dos hóspedes. O restaurante do hotel deixa a desejar no quesito agilidade , sabor e apresentação.

Το πρωινό ήταν όσο πρέπει. Το προσωπικό ήταν υπερ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Από extra παροχές που ζητήσαμε ανταποκρίθηκαν άμεσα. Ο χώρος του spa treatment είναι φανταστικός. Η πραγματικότητα ξεπερνά τις φωτογραφίες. Γενικά το ξενοδοχείο έχει μια vintage διακόσμηση που συνδυάζει τη χαλάρωση και είναι σούπερ προσεγμένο στη κάθε λεπτομέρεια από τους κοινόχρηστους χώρους μέχρι τα δωμάτια εσωτερικά.

Δεν έχω βρει κάτι που να μην μου άρεσε.

The food was excellent, the spa was lovely, the room was stylish and authentic, everything was spotless and tidy, the lobby is the kind of lobby you'd choose to hang out and read a book in, the cool rooftop pool and warm spa were excellent. But easily the best thing about Palazzo Manzi is the people. We chose to stay here for one night in between stays at two other hotels - we wish we'd stayed longer. I let them know in advance that my partner is 6 months pregnant, and from the journey to the hotel (they contacted me the day before to help book a transfer), to check-in (the first thing they did was congratulate us on the baby), to the shuttle service (they worked flexibly around us to ensure my partner wasn't stranded anywhere), to the spa service (they booked my partner with a specialist to discuss the best pregnancy-safe treatments, whilst I hung out in the grand heated pool and sauna) to simply walking around the hotel (we had waiters showing us photos of their children, housekeeping greeting us warmly, spa staff helping beyond their station) the staff here were perfect. A particular shout out to Manuela who took us under her wing - we were only there for 24 hours and yet we were best pals!

As we were there for one night we didn't get the chance to explore properly, but Cassamicciola didn't seem to have much going on (could be wrong). This is definitely a retreat type hotel, with longer trips to other areas of the island. (Definitely worth the trips!)

Palazzo Manzi Terme & Spa is a pleasant hotel, but I don’t think it quite lives up to its five-star billing. The building itself has plenty of character, almost feeling like a museum in places. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which was appreciated. The rooms were perfectly adequate, but not what I would expect from a luxury five-star property. The spa, which is one of the hotel’s strengths, also isn’t particularly well promoted to guests.

There were a few unnecessary frustrations. We were asked what time we wanted to check out, but after saying midday we were simply told checkout was 11:00 anyway, making the question seem rather pointless. Our teenagers also misplaced a room key (which we suspect was actually left in the room) and we were charged €15 to replace what was just a plain, unbranded key card. We also booked the hotel shuttle, only to be dropped at the wrong location, leaving us to pay for a taxi to reach our actual destination. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the staff deserve credit for their hospitality, but this felt much more like a good four-star hotel than a genuine five-star luxury experience.
