The bed was very comfortable, making for a good night's sleep, and the housekeeping team was pleasant, friendly, and did an excellent job keeping the room clean.

Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by several disappointing interactions. The reception manager, Tomas, came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, leaving us feeling more like an inconvenience than valued guests. The restaurant manager was unwilling to accommodate a simple request for a small birthday decoration, missing an easy opportunity to make a special occasion memorable. When we reported that the air conditioning in our room was extremely noisy, the reception staff's solution was simply to switch it off rather than offer an alternative room or another practical solution. To add to the disappointment, we were charged €8.00 for an omelette that was missing onions because the hotel had run out of them. Charging full price for a dish missing an ingredient due to the hotel's own shortage did not reflect good customer service. For us, hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, resolving problems, and paying attention to the little details that create memorable experiences. Unfortunately, that was not our experience during this stay, and we did not feel we received good value for money.

Though it’s a vintage property, it’s extremely well maintained. The staff are understanding of patron’s needs and made excellent recommendations.

You can tell that this hotel used to be Grand. There are some impressive structural features. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice.

The place feels tired, the sofa bed in our room was broken, the tv didn’t work, the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours talking. The spa is disappointing, the sauna was closed so there’s only a steam room, a jacuzzi and a cold pool. The breakfast was sad, it felt cheap. The juice is watered down, the meat and cheese was processed, etc.
