    Situated a very short distance from the Alt Spandau U-Bahn (U7) entrance, the hotel is surrounded by bars and eateries (Italian, Vietnamese, burgers, street food, etc.), a cinema, and shops (including late-night convenience stores). Sights such as the Juliusturm, Zitadelle Spandau, Sternbergprominade (along the Havel River), and the St.-Nikolai-Kirche are a short stroll away. The hotel itself is comfortable and compact, with a quiet elegance especially noticeable in the breakfast room, which has a high ceiling and large windows overlooking Breite Strasse. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating (I arrived earlier than expected), which helped make my stay a restful and memorable one.
