Guesthouse Beckmann

Ended up booking this place as it was located on the half way of our trip down to lake Como. We arrived late but were offered to dine at the restaurant even if the kitchen was supposed to close in 10 min. Life saving😅. Spacious room, simple but clean and matched the pricing, or actually it exceeded it.✨Very friendly and service minded personnel. Great breakfast. I can highly recommend this hotel if you are passing through the area and need to rest for a night.

breakfast was great, the food was fine and the view from the dining room unforgettable. personel was very friendly and helpful. rooms and bathroom small but very clean.

Very comfortable stay with an excellent evening meal in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice.

Hotel is located outside of Gottingen and it was easy to get around to other places. Breakfast was on terrace on roof with lovely view.Breakfast selection was excellent . You can’t ask for more. Staff were friendly and helpful.

By mistake I have booked room with shared bathroom. I didn’t know that something like this still exists . It should be listed as hostel . Hotel has three parts .First and second are new and lovely decorated, third part is used for students accommodation. Frankly speaking they have allocated us in one their room for students. Firsts suggested room was on ground floor with strange smell and we have to walk near the pale of mattresses. Second was decorated and furnitured in last century. This is for 80 euro per night. I think it is very greedy. They should not sale it as double room with shared bathroom if it is hostel room. It was not fair price and allocation.
