Hotel Kirchspiels Gasthaus

Very helpful staff on arrival even though we arrived at an awkward time. Great storage for our bicycles. Our room was excellent with good size and two seater and table. The meal we chose was a mini menu and excellent presentation and flavors. The breakfast was also well above average and i think ranking at the hotel at 3 stars is under my previous experience. I think it is more 3.5 or 4 stars. It appears the owners run it or have very good staff as their quality of service was above normal. Well done!!

Location was excellent - close to restaurants and shops . Free onsite parking. Restaurant onsite had excellent dinner and breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No elevator but only one flight of stairs up. We loved this small family owned hotel.

always nice to stay at Hotel Kirchspiels

We had a great stay at the hotel with our two children. Our room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom roomy with all the necessary amenities, including a hair dryer. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they had no issue talking to us in English or German. Our 8-year-old gave the hotel restaurant five stars (which is no easy feat!) after having dinner there, probably due to the fact that the children’s menu included the following item: “tell us your favourite dish and we’ll do our best”. The parents also ate very well. The breakfast the following morning was also delicious, including homemade jams, salmon, DIY waffles and a fresh edition of the local newspaper waiting at the table. The hotel is conveniently located not too far from the motorway, perfect for a stop on our way north to Denmark. We also had the opportunity to experience the local summer music festival. I can only recommend a stay here!
