Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices and plenty of healthy options. What stood out most was the quality of the food and produce, which was exceptional. Everything was fresh and tasted incredibly good. The staff and waiters were welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Their professionalism and kindness made our trip even more enjoyable.

The staff, particularly Lara on reception were all lovely, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the restaurant serves a good standard of food.

Not at all set up for families, there is a clue in the name it’s a golf resort frequented by baby boomer golfers. The so called family rooms are cramped and small with shelf like bunk beds which fold down from the wall, the alternative family rooms are suites for which at a cost of an extra 100euros a night your tween kids can share a pull out camp bed, so also not suitable. We chose this hotel as it had an indoor and outdoor pool knowing that the October weather wouldn’t guarantee an outdoor pool experience every day. What we didn’t expect was our 11and 12 year old kids would come face to face with naked older guests using the sauna and steam room whilst they swam in the indoor pool.
