    We had booked a room several months in advance for quite a bit of money. When we arrived our room was in the garden, which was actually more like a porta cabin in a dirty yard. Although the room was lovely and clean we were disappointed not to be in the main hotel for the price we’d paid.

    Decent sized modern room in a well located hotel (about 100 metres from Earls Court tube). Price we paid was reasonable, and a good breakfast was included. The latter was well presented and generally quite varied - but please add natural yogurt for us next time please!!

    The phone in my room was faulty (confirmed by staff). Reported on arrival, and not fixed during 3 night stay. The electrics in my room were a nightmare! I heard other guests complaining. symbols were unintelligable, I never got some lights to work, and there didn't seem to be a switch near door to turn on or off lighting. My room was in a separate building necessitating use of steps up and down to entrances, walking along street to go to breakfast or visit reception (as there was no phone). I was not advised of this when i booked the room I booked a deluxe double room. I was in room 310 and i could not discern any "deluxe" features! Overall a very disappointing stay I found some staff extremely helpful but others very abrupt. Breakfast was also diappointing: 1) scrambled eggs looked very unloved no effort made to freshen them up. 2) temperature of "hot food" at best warm 3) sausages (in the country that invented them,) were very low quality and tasteless 4) NO MARMALADE!
