The hotel looks like it was built for royalty back in the day. Bursting with character - shabby chic

MW Beach resort is an extraordinary looking building. It is a little run down in some respects but bursting with character.

We could have down with a few hooks in the bathroom and the lighting control system was very confusing.

The room we stayed in definitely didn’t match what was advertised online, very dated. The staff didn’t seem very helpful either or welcoming.

Overall terrible hotel that is below the standards of a backbacker hostel

Has character

They were 1 hour late in having my room ready and made me wait for check in and there was no apology. The check in process is very disorganised and the staff are unable to cater to the number of people arriving at the hotel. The hotel itself is very dirty and run down. It looks like an abandoned Chernobyl facility that has been re-opened but without any work done. The pools are murky and more like ponds. I doubt they would be safe for swimming in. No wifi available in the rooms and generally the place feels a bit scary at night.

After being lied to that we could leave early and have those day refunded we left - it was never confirmed on the app despite me speaking with the manager twice and him promising it had been it just took time - just found out he is saying we cannot have those days we didn’t stay there refunded . I’ve never stayed somewhere so bad in Thailand and we’ve done loads of travelling here and staying in 1* accom this is advertised as a 4* The balcony’s aren’t secure Electric didn’t work Had ceiling tiles missing Extremely dirty No lift or help with bags Place seems derelict My kids were really scared to stay there Outside balcony light flashing constantly

The toilet was broken, the sink didn’t drain properly and the shower and sink had no hot water. The beading for the glass door was loose and held in place with celotape which is quite dangerous.

Best stay we had in krabi, really like there housekeeping service very prompt and the entire building was very neat and clean. The breakfast was also good, though if you are vegetarian you wont get much options. Overall the stay was 5/5, the staff is very prompt and the location is also good of the reaort.

The resort is amazing! The most important thing you should know about the place is the staff, they are very nice and friendly! They can speak English! And always help you with tickets or tours. You can also rent a motorbike. The location is good. There are a so many restaurants and bars nearby and 7/11. The pool is very clean and so big. Our room was large and had all amenities: air conditioner, fridge, large mirror, shower accessories and lots of shelves

Outdated empty hotel

You can tell this used to be a nice hotel. Historical feeling everywhere. Calm and almost empty. Pool area and garden is nice.

Rooms smell old and humid. Everything is really outdated and feels dirty. Pool area is pretty but also the pool feels dirty. It felt that the staff really didn’t care too much or they had too much work to do. Feels that you are alone in this huge hotel.

We were a little worried because of reviews but found this hotel great, it was old style needing some TLC but they have been through COVID etc. Great staff, huge rooms, balcony, lovely pools, everything we needed, extended our stay to 4 days. Restaurant served basic breakfast but was not entirely suited to me as a vegan but sufficient. Food market 10 minutes to the left, central busy town about 20 mins and beautiful Nopparrat park 15 mins to the right

Mw krabi beach resort,is the Thai touch with a blend of nature for nature lovers offering Large swimming pools, They arranged all sight scene pick and drop for us and also help us with the local sight seeing places. They served the osum food with thai touch.i will recommed this place for every one coming to krabi Thank you
