I liked the the location of the hotel, which was perfect for my needs, the size of the room (duplex) which allowed me to work peacefully and comfortably, and the easy access and friendly, helpful staff (including the manager/owner).

Absolutely delightful. Very helpful staff and a superb location. Beautiful villages and great restaurants. Excellent if you have limited mobility which is a big plus for us.

Wonderful stay

We stayed at Le Manoir du Capitaine for two nights as it is close to the museum sites of Waterloo. On arrival, we were warmly greeted, and we were given information about our room and breakfast. The room was wonderful. It had a sitting room/kitchen diner downstairs and our bedroom and bathroom on the mezzanine. Everything was spotless, and we had everything we could need. The hotel was in a quiet location but there was a lovely restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast was superb. There was lots of choice and everything was fresh. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel/apartment, was sorry not to stay longer and explore more! Nice walk into pretty town, would need a car to explore further Loved the two storey rooms and the gorgeous breakfast room with helpful friendly staff - well stocked continental variety Thank you for the great communication and very pleasant stay :) Will definitely be back!!

The place is very special, it is the 15 century building, but all facilities are renovated and clean. The host was proud to tell us the history of the place . It is amasing.

Excellent hotel, spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable with good kitchenette. Staff very friendly and courteous, good parking. A second television in the upstairs bedroom and the hotel would be perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

I liked the room in general, it was clean, bed was comfortable, there was a kitchen and all the utensils. The breakfast was delivered in a sealed bag to the room, and it was quite good, with croissant, jam, cheese and fruits.

The bathroom was not the best, but still clean and had everything needed.
