"The price was nice, so was the food. It was autumn time so it wasn't really walking weather. We had a car to get around so that was a positive. I would recommend, would be nice in the summer."

The hotel was beautiful and the perfect size, with the pool and the restaurant right on our doorstep. The staff were so kind and attentive, particularly the two guys that served us dinner. Both of them (separately) even noticed that I didn’t like ice but that my partner did without us even telling them! Our room was of a high standard (very typical hotel style) and was cleaned often. The pool is not heated but when it was sunny it was very fun to have a (albeit very cold) dip and then dry off in the (a lot warmer) sun. We really liked the medieval style of the outside of the hotel, it was very pretty and fun. The beach near the hotel is fun, but not as good as the Alicante one as it is quite rocky and muddy. Alicante is a beautiful city, only a 10 minute bus ride away (the 22 bus), where we spent most of our time. There is a great museum of archaeology, beautiful churches and a really great walk to the castle from which you can see the whole city. You can also get a boat to the island Tabarca and coaches to neighbouring cities like Torrevieja which is home to the famous pink lake.
The room was very cold, probably partly because it was out of the sun all times of day and there didn’t seem to be any heating. The dinner was not the best quality and wasn’t clearly signposted. Some days it was a buffet to self-serve from and some days it was a set menu of little choice. Neither option was particularly good quality, we did feel mislead by the photos of beautiful steaks in the other reviews. Breakfast was also fine. It was a buffet with not the most selection in the world of not the best quality but it sufficed. All in all, I would still recommend half board for its price and convenience though.

Small cozy hotel, receptionists were very pleasant and helpful
Don’t forget to take with you earplugs cause it’t a bit noisy. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, not a single vegetable, and no fried eggs

Diego, clean, wine at dinner We had the halfboard package but the food breakfast and dinner was very limited. Two first nights we were given wine for dinner, 3-4 glasses of wine, but suddenly on our last night there was a new boring waiter and he told us only one glass wine OR one water per person, which surprised us a lot. Diego was very kind and professional, but he was not there on our last night. We missed him. Also, there was a team of Italian young hotel students who ran the whole hotel during our stay, and they were very polite and lovely. Ferdinando helped us a lot. Wish them success. The room was very clean. Shower was good and powerful. They changed towels every day, very nice. Cleaning every day. The pool was closed during our stay (early March) which we did not know about before our stay. Apart from the food and the pool, everything was perfect. We would be going back, but we hope the last night night waiter in the restaurant would change his behaviour and be nicer (waiter on dinner 8 March)
Pool closed, food not good and limited

The place is fresh and clean, pretty new. Nice pool area. The staff at the reception.
The food included in our package, and the staff serving it. It was very bad, boring, uninspired, and a big disappointment. Not able to share info on allergies in a decent way either. Breakfast was OK, almost good, dinner was terrible. The single beds put together to make a double bed was separating constantly. The room was very very small.
