The hotel is very clean and spacious. Breakfast was also very good and staff was very friendly.

My room was on the side facing the street, so I had a bit trouble sleeping with the noise. My dog also was a bit bothered by it.

Nice place to stay

Clean. Nice room Amazing breakfast. Staff were very nice. Location is super close to Sirmione. Private free parking available even for big cars.

The room was not very loud but the road side seemed pretty noisy. The room was not very hot and it took a while to heat it up. They should put less perfume in the room after they clean as it was very strong and we had to let the window open for several minutes.

It was good - but need air-con

The price was great for the location, the swimming pool was easy to access and breakfast was excellent! Check in was easy but they do need ID for little kids which we didn't know nor have

Unfortunately we had a terrible night sleep, the room temperature was 35 degrees, we requested to reception for air-con to be turned on and they said they will, but didnt. We then call them from the room to ask again but they did not respond, we went to reception at 1am and nobody was there so we tried to open the windows and the noise from the highway was too loud.

To stay or not to stay,that is the question

Room was fine apart from not one English T.V channel. Pool was the best thing about the hotel as I could swim anytime of day or night

Breakfast was poor, cereals terrible, bacon and scrambled eggs every morning which you either got cold leftover or had to wait 15/20 minutes for fresh ones,same with bread/croissants, no fruit either. No bar or restaurant open for the whole week we stayed,first receptionist told us it was for renovation but another told us it doesn't open until 15th June, Nowhere in the description or any other review on booking. Com does it tell you this,we had to walk back to the town every night to eat and drink which is a 2/3k walk which would be OK if you hadn't already walked 10/15k around different areas already during the day. and before anyone asks there are no taxis in peschiera and no buses that go near this hotel. Speaking of taxis we got the hotel to call one to take us to Gardaland theme park one day and it cost 15 euros, then found out when we came out that evening that there was a FREE bus running all day from the train station in peschiera to the theme park, my question for the staff at reception was "how could you not know that" and pass it on to visitors. Little tip if you're getting a train to verona for a day out (definitely worth a visit) Either get the local service train coz it's only 6 euros or if you're cheeky enough get any train and no ticket as its one stop away and there are no checks either end. Lastly make sure you visit SIRMIONE, absolutely beautiful historic town, bus from peschiera port costs 3:50 euros return . Lake Garda is a beautiful place and not to expensive, just pick a different hotel then Hotel Rivus,to far out and poorly ran.

Nice clean rooms & hotel.

Noisy main road,gardens poorly maintained ie weeds & dead plants,bar never seemed to be open,hotel in general very quiet.

The breakfast was warm and handmade.

There was a problem with our a/c but as this was an one day stay we didn't bother to get it fixed. The day after we woke up, we found ants in our room. There was probably a hive there as our room was on the second floor.

Nice big clean room and beautiful walk to town along the lakeside

Side of the motorway, Although I was aware of how close it was to the motorway and did not affect our sleep...it was just a shame on a sunny day you could not leave the door open. The price charged for an out of town locationn ext to a motorway is hard to justify. I do also think they give booking.com customers the worst rooms

Breakfast and parking were OK.

The AC in room was too hot and didn't manage to decrease temperature. The receptionist told she will do it as it computer controlled. I had to open the balcony door to stop the AC but the street is too busy and noisy all night. Location not good too.

Decent

The hotel was clean and large. The pool was nice and there is bike rental. The reception is very nice and well informed.

The location is a little awkward by food especially with luggage. Also there is not necessarily a bar although you can purchase wine.
